I got the non pro version (which is less than 10% in performance compared to the pro ones) for around $321 which includes the pen and the folio cover, I can say it's sooo worth it, for me the wiggly lines doesn't bother me as much and can be easily corrected by the software I'm using, I have a huion kamvas on my pc where I can draw as accurate as I can but for the price of this tablet it's just unbeatable for drawing on the go.launch

Not for nothing Brad, but as an artist is it even worth reviewing a product that has wavy lines? I mean it's a software and a hardware problem and with a program using a line straightener it creates slow and annoying strokes. Even at a cheaper price it's not worth it I think. Pens and tablet that have issues like this is only good for students taking notes but not for artists.launch

I recently bought the Xiaomi Pad 7, and the UI honestly feels very unoptimized — it’s basically like using a big phone. In portrait mode, split screen works side-to-side instead of dividing from the middle, which makes multitasking uncomfortable. It only feels usable in landscape mode.\n\nThere’s also no universal theme app like on Xiaomi phones, and third-party launchers break gesture functionality. No mini dock for apps either. The Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 is powerful, but the software really drags it down. Even Performance Mode is hidden deep inside settings.\n\nIf you care about a smooth tablet software experience, my ranking would be:\n\n1. Samsung (best overall)\n\n\n2. OnePlus Pad 2\n\n\n3. I've only been using the Pad 7 Pro for a week, wanting to replace my laptop, which felt bulky and heavy.\n\nMy experiences are as follows:\n1. The Office apps can't replace the Office software on a PC, especially for heavy Word processing and complex spreadsheets.\n2. As someone who enjoys multitasking, having two pages open side by side on this tablet isn't enough for my needs.\n3. Chrome Mobile on this tablet doesn't support a proper desktop display (it looks like a magnified mobile phone display).\n4. The virtual keyboard that always pops up when using a physical keyboard is very annoying and embarrassing (when used in front of people).\n5. I'm not a media person, but watching videos on this screen is very enjoyable. \n6. Overall performance is very good, but there's lag in some applications.\n7. I rarely do video editing, but I've found its performance to be excellent (Filmora).\n\nSince my primary use is for office use and browsing (work-related), I think I'll decide to use a Huawei tablet and try its WPS PC level. I'm also considering the latest iPad because it has an extended display-out option.\n\nI know that in a work-offices context, using a PC or laptop is more appropriate, but when I need to work on the go, the laptop's weight and large dimensions limit me (because I recently broke my collarbone in a motorcycle accident).launch

A Redmi Pad user here, seems like the things I hate about their HYPER OS are still there... Although their hardware are pretty solid, their software is garbage.....Split screen mode in portrait mode, who the fuck split like that, also the mouse cursor, what the hell is that fat looking thing?... Nope.... From me, I highly recommend u search for other alternatives like Xiaoxin Pad from Lenovo, or one plus pad 2...launch

I’m not sure what Xiaomi’s engineers were thinking while designing this tablet, but looking at the specs, the Pad 7 Pro feels like a downgrade compared to its predecessor, the Pad 6S Pro. When you compare the two, the Pad 7 Pro falls short in several areas, such as screen size, battery capacity, and charging speed, sounds. The only notable upgrade is the processor, but even that isn’t a huge improvement. The Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 only offers a slight increase in CPU performance compared to the 8 Gen 2 on the Pad 6S Pro, and in terms of GPU performance, it’s actually a bit worse. So, if you’re thinking about buying the Pad 7 Pro, it might be worth considering the Pad 6S Pro first, cuzz the pad 6s pro also it use the same stylus xiaomi focus pen.launch

They really downright removed the fingerprint sensor on the button which is a huge feature for my personal use, and also lowered the charging speed despite the device needing more power to operate now that it has a more demanding and better screen resolution.\n\nI own the pad 6 pro since its release and been using it daily, don't see any reason to upgrade to this sadly unless you need all the latest snapdragon chips and a higher resolution on the screen.launch

I just bought this couple of days ago. \nI specifically needed a tablet for reading ebooks, for using in car while streaming video while using maps, for bit of media consumption, bit of gaming, and bit of stylus action.\n\nHowever, the negative is it doesn't have gps sensor, I realised later that only versions with 5g sim tray have gps sensors and xiaomi pad 7 doesn't have that version. Also I thought 10 inch tab would be nice and small to hold, but no it's actually massive, and impossible to hold in one hand for reading books. \n\nThis was me making mistakes buying wrong device for my needs. But this is technically the best tab for the money, as I bought 256 gb variant with stylus for £315, \ncompared to matepad 2 128gb £399, one plus pad 2 128gb without stlus costing £399.launch

Xiami is doing a good job mostly for the tablets, however the accessories such as keyboard, pen, these are not available mostly, at least wasn't available for the previous generations on either amazon or flipkart or even their own website.\n\nEdit- Just checked for this generation as well, and the keyboard and pen isn't available on xiaomi storefront in Amazon, not available on Flipkart and not available on their official website as well. \n\nSo yes technically the tablet just becomes an entertainment device because as soon as the keyboard and pen are not available, productivity wouldn't make as much sense.launch
