WARNING: This has been the worse product that I have ever purchased, it has not worked once, ever. It was a complete waste of time and money. As you can see in the comments that over 100 people cannot upgrade the firmware. Obviously Zhiyun has no intentions to resolve this issue, I believe they cannot and that is why there is not a fix for this issue on their website in 2024. Why don't they offer the firmware download on their site so it can been manually installed onto the gimbal via USB?launch

I found a HACKAROUND! So this wasn't working and like many of you, I came here. So I was using my S21FE and had No luck. But I had an old A10E phone that was just factory reset for running Ocroprint. I did a fresh install for the ZY Play app on it and then followed the same instructions. I got the firmware installed v1.90. BUT I'm still fighting to synchronize the system. BUT I got the firmware updated so i hope this help someonelaunch

Hi, Tom! Thanks for the video. I have an iphone x and a samsung galaxy I connected them to both phones and I only manage to connect them to the wifi, but I don't get any image on the cell phone. I was thinking maybe it’s not a good HDMI. What brand is your HDMI?launch

The USB port at the front of the gimbal its just for charging other devices like smartphones... no Firmware update with this port. The only way is with the ZY Play App but Im not able to connect the Crane 3 with the ZY Play App. Wifi & bluetooth turned on but no device are found? Ive tried it with a Samsung s8 and an Aplle Ipad but on both devices it doesent find the Crane 3?launch

I can see that many buyers have problems with updating the Zhiyun Crane 3 Lab firmware. My Firmware is version 1.65 and regarding to the CRANE 3 LAB Firmware Release Changelog a lot of fixes have ben done. The firmware updates is important, since there have been a lot if problems, which is fixed in the firmware updates. The ZY Play APP don´t show the update option. I have used different Android phones. I have read all the comments and advices here and non of them have resolved the problem. I would like to have a qualified answer on \"how to fix it\". It can´t be fair, that we are waiting months and don´t have qualified answers or updated videos from the manufactor.launch

got my 3 lab yesterday and called amazon to return it (so i can pay more money and get the 3S Pro assuming its made out of better material) cuz i cant lock my camera plate which is holding my BMPCC4K on my full smallrig cage - ive tried the lift-and-lock trick and it still slides all over. not sure how else to fix this? anyone know if getting the 3s pro would be a waste of time and money if the release lock is similar?launch

My quick release plate wouldn't stick. Then It got stuck I had to send it back to get fix. I got it back but now its doing the same thing. It will not release my plate any advice for that? Thxlaunch

The companion app suffers from lag that makes smartphone-based focus pulling impractical, and it lacks controls for ISO, shutter speed, or aperture, restricting remote use to basic recording.

He does not address the lag on the phone or the problems using the app.. cant take any review seriously if they dont go into this in detail.. you can not pull focus with a smartphone because of the lag.. if you plan on using an 80d, the app with cell phone is useless.. you also cant adjust iso, shutter speed, aperture.. all you can do is press record.. at least that workslaunch

Some cameras are only partially supported after updates or not supported at all for certain features, such as motion timelapse on the A6400 or button functions on the Nikon Z7II after a firmware upgrade.

I have upgraded version 1.90, but it doesn't support Nikon z7ii, because video button, tv button, av button and iso wheel button, those things don't work after upgrade to 1.90, i think after upgrade it will. better efficiency but became worse Do you have a solution?launch

Crane 3 is not supporting A6400 .. i did this mistake and i am not able to use the motion time lapse... and Zhiyun simply replied me... sorry your camera is not support ... please go with camera list.... and i am hitting the roof now.\nLast time in my life to select this Zhiyun products.....\nI would wait Dji ... with all patience rather than wasting my money.launch

At least one user reported the gimbal drifting 10-15 degrees counter-clockwise in follow mode regardless of camera or weight setup, calling the product buggy, while another struggled with visible jitters during slow walks.

this gimbal the crane 3 will not update with 1.85 to 1.87. Also my gimbal is drifting 10-15 degrees counter clockwise when it runs in the first PF mode and after time and time again setup with any camera, any weight, this problem is in their gimbal itself.\n\nI would NOT recommend this gimbal. It is very buggy and they are in China. Don't buy this system.launch

Hey Tom...you speak about visible jitters at 14.25 can you please elaborate about the values you are assigning to the motor settings? I have tried the preset options as well as custom values but can't seem to get rid of jitters while even doing a slow walk, trying to analyse what I might be doing wrong here. Im using the BMPCC 4k with the Tilta cage (offset to the last 1/4 screw hole closest to battery) and paired it with a Helios 58mm mounted through a Viltrox M4/3 to EF converter.launch
