I had to go get a usb to gigabit adapter. No matter what I tried I couldn’t get the “wifi no connection” message to stop popping up every 30 mins or so. Other then that the device is pretty solidlaunch

This is the best Certified Android Box so far after NVIDIA Shield. If you can afford then surely go for NVIDIA otherwise this is still the best pick. Yes, It is low on RAM and ROM. But apart from those it has something in it called DRM L1 license which you won't find in other brands. Those who are looking to play PUBG on this box can look for other boxes. But if you want to experience heavenly AV quality over Netflix,youtube other streaming options then this box is just for you. This box will get regular OTAs whenever it is available. CONS : This box lacks Ethernet port. There should be at least 2 USB ports in the box one of which should be of usb3.0 compatible. Front notification light on the box is too faint, I can hardly see it glowing.launch

Great box for a low price. Just installed android 9 on it and it runs even better now. My disadvantage is the lack of an extra usb port. I ordered a usb splitter box with 3 ports and i will let you know if that will work with my airmouse and usb stick. One other point is the choice of the default launcher, i am using sideload channel launcher 2 now in witch you can custimise everything including your background. It would be nice to set that as the default launcher.\nFor the rest only positive. There are also apk files you can sideload on it. One of my reccomandations is CX File explorer. Runs very fast on the box and you can easily set up an account in the cloud with the webdav protocol. CX can also do a cleaning performance of large unnessacery files and cache files. The box also reconizes a usb stick of 64 gb so the storage of only 8 gb isn't a problem anymore.launch

Despite being advertised for 4K, some users found actual 4K playback disappointing, especially with sideloaded apps like Amazon Prime, and not a true alternative to devices like Chromecast Ultra.

I saw your video and bought one, to test it myself. For me it was a disappointment because it does not work well with 4K resolution as advertised. I like the idea but it is not an alternative to a Chromecast Ultra, unfortunately.launch

This box is nothing but hype and bordering deceptive advertising. The Android TV system forces you to sideload anything that might be worth putting on this box. And not even allowing a working browser?!?!? How are we supposed to search from their parent company Google? Next up is the Atmos that they advertise. It works... IF you have your own files that you can play. It does not Stream anything in Atmos. There are only 3 services in the US that do. And NONE of them work with Atmos on this box.The Vudu app only works at 1080P, therefore Atmos will not even work on that app, either. For a box with this little memory you should be paying no more than $30-35. 4K works... with Google and Youtube. I sideloaded Amazon Prime, and this box can't handle 4K from them. It sounded like, and I was really hoping, that this would be the one and only box that I would need. But this one falls WAY short.launch

Just buy a nVidia shield. Everything else is just a waste of money. Mibox's suffer from audio and video sync issues if you have a receiver or soundbar hooked up. The shield allows you to sync it system wide through the settings. People say the mibox is 2nd to the Shield. Sure it is but it has been lapped 10 times.launch
