Cool product... got mine installed yesterday and having a terrible time with a purple corner in the top left. White balanced, played around with saturation and brightness and still getting it. Not sure whats goin on but the calibration setup is a bit finicky in my opinionlaunch

Mines does not work that well and I have the T2 camera which is suppose to be the upgrade. If i have it on the “all” option where its just one main color for it all. When I do “part” is when it gets crazy. Wish i could attach pictures but on the right side of the screen it could be a blue ocean and the light is red. I know about the blues to red calibration but wouldn’t make that big of a difference. I did learn that it seems it picks up stuff even right right of the tv like a color oof a box or if i had a yellow light to the right of the Tv, then the TV light might show some yellow on that side. Be nice to shows pictures but hp[efully someone understands what im talking about/ going through. Camera is 90 degrees to screen like it says too. I know that was long but PLEASE if anyone can help me/ recalibrate with the sticky orange boxeslaunch

Nice video! I bought my lights last year and as you say cable management can be a bit tricky (all my clips fell off and I have not re applied them since). But the adhesive tape on the back is very high quality and in my experience it doesn’t peel by itself (you could also replace it by yourself since that 3M double sided tape is sold separately, it might be tedious but doable). \n\nI installed mine on an OLED (super thin) and had to get creative to get the camera installed. I have seen some reviewers sticking the small cardboard boxes to their tv and making a base, but since OLED uses the back of your TV as a heat sink, I personally used a small piece of aluminium 90 degree angle profile BEFORE applying my light strips. I had a base for the camera (didn’t stick it to the front) and the lights were placed on the top of the angle so no light was covered. In your case maybe 3D printing a custom base could be feasible (and a cool video!)\nFor the calibration, you might wanna re do it BUT use a YouTube video as background called Govee Calibration or the like on your TV. Makes it much more simple! One thing I have seen other reviewers mention is that there IS a difference on the kits, currently the latest they offer is a combination of light strips for the back of the TV and light bars for the sides that might have a more powerful control box that gives more accurate and active colors. Other way you could help is looking into the app, in my case I have a color temperature and saturation control sliders that DO alter the final result.\n\nFinally another install note, if you have your TV near a reflective surface, it will affect your result since the glow of the lights themselves might create a feedback loop believing that the tv is showing something when the TV is pitch black. This is much more of a problem on glossy TVs (OLED), but depending on your setup you can fix this,\n\nGreat video, hope this wasn’t too much of a rant and have a good day!launch

My camera is mounted below, but my tv is high up with a white ceiling, reflecting back. I'm going to try obscuring half of the lens that is seeing beyond the TV. I seems to me like a colour feedback loop, and thats why it gets more pronounced with the high saturation setting.launch

People . Don't buy the ones with the cameras. They are NOT good at separating the colors. The one you want is the gaming box . It cost more but it was way more worth it than these lights . I have only govee so not hating on brand . They are the best . It just did not meet my expectations at all.... And the price is way too high for these ...launch

I’ve set up the 2 camera version and tested movies like Blade Runner 2049, Tenet, Dune and Interstellar on 65” C2 and it’s just not doing it for me. Sometimes it seems to output quite accurately and adds immersion - other times it looks way off and seems more a distraction. Even in this video if you pause at 7:32 - why is it displaying orange in the upper corners when it’s clearly blue/white? I have Hue+ with 3 light bars for my computer, wanted a cheaper option for my TV and I wasn’t necessarily expecting the same quality but I guess it’s relative to its much lower price. Not sure if I’m gonna keep it. It literally sometimes seems like I just have a light strip doing its own thing while I’m trying to enjoy a 4K UHD Blu-ray and at that point I’d rather focus on the TV.launch

Kits are sold in fixed size ranges and often don't precisely fit the buyer's TV, leaving corners uncovered on large screens or strips overhanging on smaller ones, with Govee reportedly discouraging cutting the strips to fit.

I have a 70' tv, i honestly thought i had a 75' tv, so i got the 75-85 one, its too long on each corner, about 4 inches too long on each corner. Stupid me. So i was just about to order those clips so i could cut it down so it would fit perfectly, but i was reading the questions on the Amazon app and on the answers it says no you cannot cut these, but one answer says you can, so can you cut these and use the clips?launch

I've bought this for my 55\" Samsung QLED and it's too big. The side strips and the top and bottom strips are longer than the tv's size so they stick out the tops and sides and overlap on the corners.... Haven't installed it yet because of this. Plus the fact that the tv while not being as thin as yours is still far too thin to attach the camera..launch

I am getting conflicting answers on this question and hoped you can help;\nMy TV is 77\" so I purchased the kit for 75-85 inch TVs.\nCan I simply loop the excess evenly at the corners or do I cut off the extra length as is done with some other brands? Govee answered someone on Amazon who asked by saying you should never cut the lightstrip. Thanks in advance!launch

What these reviewers and Govee do not tell you, is that it takes 21ft of LED strip to cover an 85\"inch TV from corner to corner, they sell and advertise a set of immersion lights for TV from 75-85\" but that kit only comes with 16.5 ft of LED strips, that does lot cover your 85\" inch TV, and the corners will be awfully dark.launch

For me, the device did not go into paring mode. I've tried everything. I never saw any blue light. I also pressed the middle button 4 times while holding down the Power button. Left unplugged for 10 minutes, closed and reopened many times. Unplugged for 10 minutes, reseted my internet router.... Tried on both Samsung phone and iPhone... I really don't know what to do anymore. It's very frustrating.launch

Installation issue—app never asks me about connecting to wifi and can’t get to camera installation. Followed instructions and have a bright blue light on camera, but will not initialize. Everything I read says to make sure you do not skip the wifi connection portion but it never asks for it. When I try to go to wifi settings it just goes straight to initializing camera which fails. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling the device on the app and deleting and reinstalling the entire app on two different phones that are connected to wifi. Any ideas??launch

Cool. I like the way this will work when streaming from a Chromecast, which Hue Sync cannot. Shame TVs don't have an HDMI out (eg. mirror/passthro') which would mean we could avoid all this camera BS. However, I have an 82\" TV so I'm assuming this would leave quite a lot of corner uncovered...launch

In my honest opinion I find all this light movement and flickering and color changing very distracting! And the sensor that's mounted on top of TV looks ridiculous and would bother me even more I went out and bought a $10 LED strip put it on my TV and that's good enough for me and I can make it any color I wantlaunch

It’s now been 7months and mine have stopped work only work with Bluetooth now WiFi will not connect and apps freezes when I try to reconfigure the WiFi. Good thing I only bought one set . I have 5 tvs I wanted to do this too but I’m doubtful about this products if they stop working after a few months. And I also say this for a lot of new product coming out .
