Have the same head just bought a SVT 410FLN 4ohm ampeg cab off Facebook marketplace and it rattle everything in the house. Nice head but no mute switch love the carry bag and patch cordlaunch

So here’s the thing. First off. Great video dude. The second thing is when I looked up an extension cabinet I’ve seen this before in the past. Is this the one that has an RMS lower than 400? I was going to pull the trigger a few years ago on it because they were good price. But the RMS was lower than 400 which is what the stage 800 is. If that’s the case, is this OK to use with it still as long as you don’t put it on full blast?launch

In my option this amp is a marketing nightmare. First the combo as designed outputs 400 watts RMS at 8 ohms. The cab is only 350 watts at 8 ohms, which is underpowered. If you want to add a Fender extension cab, you can't add the 2X10 or the 1x15 since they are only 350 and 300 watts respectively, and again are under powered. On the back of the amp is specifically says that the extension cab must be 400w minimum, hence you can only add the 4x10. The 500 is a better choice since you can mix matching extension cabs. Bottom line, I am getting rid of my Rumble 800 and going to a company that has their shit together when they design product.launch

The amp tones seem pretty extensive and 800 watts ( $1139.00 ) should be plenty but 2 x 10 for speakers are only adequate for your bedroom. There's no way you'll cut through or supply enough bottom for any live band. A minimum of 4 x 10 high efficiency speakers are needed so you've got to purchase a Rumble 210 Cabinet V3 Black/Silver 2 x 10 cabinet from Fender to match the look at an additional cost of $480. This guy is trying to give the impression that the Rumble Stage 800 alone is the end all of your needs and this is misleading. They should have promoted the additional speakers and the MGT-4 Footswitch ( a reasonable $65.00 ). This video is obviously a Fender sanctioned video but their marketing department has stale ideas and thinks that some obscure \"star\" will somehow elevate the presentation. There are other offerings by other companies to be considered at $1600+ that also have updated amp simulations etc.launch

This is a long shot given the age of this video but I’ve just received this amp and I’ve noticed at higher volumes/ whenever I play a little harder i get this popping noise with the amber light flashing when the noise happens on the power indicator and I’m wondering if it’s just busted and I should return it or there’s an underlying issue I can fix. I’d hate for it to already be busted since I spent so much on itlaunch

Been playing rock and roll bass since the Dead Sea was only sick. Nearly 55 years. As a kid played through Silvertone (Sears!), Vox & Fender. Grew up and as a pro used Ampeg SVT, SWRs & finally GKs for the last 40 years. Then I watched a recent demo video of this Rumble Stage 800 and went over to the local brick & mortar music store to see if it was on the floor and it was...literally WAS because after exploring it for an hour it was loaded in my car. All 39 pounds. My favorite all time amp tone is the Classic SVT. Nothing comes close to that. Except now AND you can up the ante any which way you like. This amp is everything you can imagine and more and I've never been a fan of Fender bass amps. It's intimidating at first because it is without a doubt very complex if you're not a wire head nor savvy about, ya know, compression, effects, noise gates & blah blah blah. For myself, it's just been an bass, an amp and a cord to connect the two. Not anymore. I've played two gigs with the classic rock trio I'm a member of and last night I had several comments most commonly \"WTF are you using to get that tone?!\" I pointed to the little black box stage left and said \"That.\" \nThe only reservation I have is reliability. It's new. And as my old man used to warn...\"don't EVER buy a car in it's first model year.\" I bought a brand new Harley Road King in 2007 and it had a bigger engine and transmission from the previous six years and after riding it for three weeks, I hated it for a variety of reasons and made the dealer take it back and give me back my 2001 HD Softail.\nPoint is, will this new fangled amp with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 100 presets & 100 empty presets for who-knows-what, be there for the long run. For its size, it has balls as big as church bells and the retail price is astonishingly affordable. And for a man about to turn 66, it's LESS THAN HALF THE WEIGHT of the GK 1001RB 2X10 combo I've busted my balls hauling around for the last 18 years.\nBravo, Fender (for now). Fingers are crossed that it hangs in there for a beatin' or two or three...launch

Multiple users report the amp fading in and out during play because it's searching for firmware updates over WiFi; the fix is to disable WiFi, but this isn't obvious to new owners and is described as an ongoing issue.

What they don't tell you is the amp fades out while you are playing if you don't turn the WIFI of. It continually searches for upgrades to download. Also the Bluetooth sometimes freezes up keeping you from using phone control for the AMP. Over all totally awesome amp short of the issues they have. I thing this is an on going issue because the 800 amp head that first came out had the same issues , read about it on reddit .\n\n\nGot this off reddit :Hey folks, got a new amp and it seems to randomly cut out and then fade back in. Not sure what's causing it to do that, but it might be something with the power cable if some of the old talkbass discussions I've read are correct. Is this something to bring it to an amp tech over?\n\nIf you have the WiFi network turned on, try turning it off and see if the problem goes away. Quite a lot of people have reported that it does that when it's trying to do firmware updates and it can be fixed by turning the WiFi off.\n\nLike I said all and all great amp , but if you get one once set up turn the WIFI off unless you are doing an update.launch

One long-term owner describes volume inconsistency between presets and a 'farty' sound at higher volumes on certain settings like Motown, seeking advice for a fix.

Hi I own and play this amp. I really like the presets but it seems to get very farty when the volume is turned up, especially in the Motown setting, which I love. Do you seem to experience this also? Also the volume seems to differ hugely between presets and I cannot seem to get them to stay all at a consistent volume between each preset. Any advice for me? Have you plugged an extension cabinet to it? Want to get an extension cabinet, and I want to keep it fender, but which would be the best choice? 2 X 10, 1 X 15? What would you recommend?launch

This amp is still unbelievable and is going up in price! I got a used one just for under 400 bucks and I’m super happy with it. You literally can just run the amp with an external cab like I do. I use a 4x10 800 watts 8ohm and I get the full power of 800 watts. Or it the gig is very small then I just get my amp stand and tilt it back and use the rumble stage 800 alone. The foot switch is simple but a very good option. Especially if you need to tune in between songs or mute your bass in between sets. But if you like using your phone you can also change presets and effects on the fly. I just prefer having a physical foot switch and not depending on Bluetooth for it. But having these options is pretty cool. The amp is strong enough for any gig. I just don’t think it’s worth to pay 1200 bucks brand new now. From 799 to 1199 it was quite a jump. Fender is going crazy!launch

It's got good punch and clarity at a very reasonable price in a compact package. I may get one as a travel amp. But.....for the company that makes awesome electric basses....the Fender bass amp tone is nothing special. It doesn't sizzle like the old SWR heads or growl like the Krueger. I would never want to record with that Rumble head. I would say: \"Oh, I brought the Rumble head to practice so I wouldn't have to bring the good gear.\launch
