This comment is ment for ‘ pedal-players ‘.\nThis is digital/modeling amp with a clean channel that sounds great with pedals :\nThe Fender Champion 2 100 Watt 2x12.\nSet the treble and bass on 5 ( that is important because that is the sweet spot of that channel: play not loud set the bass on 6 ). If you have a decent pedal board first put in front a booster ( a good one for this is the TC electronic Sparkle ( €70,- ) , make sure you set the toggle switch down or up ( depending on your guitar pickups ) for a fuller , richer sound ) and dial the right amound of tone in it and boost your amp a little bit with it.( also a little gain with the TC for that edge ) I swear , you don't believe what a result you get !!! And all your pedals after it sound good. I had a Fender Super Reverb and a Roland JC 120 but this sounds much warmer and has the classic Fender sound and if you want , it can go very , very loud . €350,- .............unbelieveble !!! And the first version exists 11 years so there must be something good with those amps , why otherwise make a second version?( with upgrade ) And the weight : 18 kilo's versus the Fender SR 30 kilo's? and RolandJC 120 35 kilo's? I play a long time guitar semi-professional and I am always bussy with sound so I am telling you no joke ; try it yourself in a music store with a decent Strat or Tele...........you will hear and see. And forget the second channel , it is no good only for heavy metal players \nI don’t understand why this is always called a ‘ beginners- or a practice ‘ amp .\nI don’t know how it will hold in time with regulair use , time will learn ; but this is an underestimated amp .\nThe Tone Master serie of Fender is good but when you play on high volume/pedals they sounds weird .
