Good video as always. Re the Key Light MIni, I've had nothing but problems. I've been using two Key Light Airs for a couple of years without issue, but when I connected the mini it caused all sorts of intermittment problems with both Keylight airs. I can't even use the mini on battery as it stopped working whilst on mains, and now won't reconnect to any wifi to switch it to battery power. I wrote to Elgato a few weeks ago, and still haven't received any respone. From looking at other websites, I don't think I'm alone wioth this type of issue. Plenty of better lights out there.launch

I think the elgato lights are great but I think that all 3 might be a little higher then they should be if there price was right they would be my to go to for lights but cause they are a little higher then I think they should be there is cheaper options for each of those use features that are just as goodlaunch

I'm really surprised by Elagto this time around. Their whole thing of late has been to copy an existing product but innovate and solve a core issue that improves on whatever is already out there.\n\n It's a great looking light for sure and if you NEED control via Stream Deck it's a no brainer. The problem is there are so many competing products on the market at the same or better price points with better features. The Key Light Mini's only real advantage is being bigger than most \"tiny\" budget lights like the Aputure MC. But you're not gonna use either as your main light, so the size isn't such a big deal. Plus, Aputure and other brands offer their own mobile apps, built in batteries, mounting points, magnets, etc. Heck, you could buy a full-sized 1x1 LED panel from several brands for just a few bucks more and get WAY more bang for your buck...\n\nIt's just so weird seeing Elgato NOT innovate with a hardware product. I'm not sure what they actually could have done to make the Key Light Mini innovative though. 🤷launch

The Elgato Key Light Mini has a built-in, crippling handicap. Do NOT use Elgato's own app Control Centre to turn it off! The wireless system continues to draw off the internal battery. Result: A lifeless doorstop after a few hours from a 95% charge. With no way to wake it up again! Not even if you leave it connected all day and \"supposedly\" charging. Elgato Mini RIP! 🥴launch

Great quality product; I love the soft warm light output. Only issue for me, is the WIFI disconnects when you turn it off (on battery). Makes sense from a power saving perspective, but makes the Elgato remote control app practically useless. \n\nPhottix and Neewer make cheaper edge-lit lights ✅launch

Some buyers received units that wouldn't turn on or charge at all, and found the replacement process of having to ship back the defective unit first before receiving a new one frustrating.

A long-term user found their battery bloated after about three years of use, and noted it was difficult to safely remove the light from its adhesive mount when opening it up.

Thank you! I noticed my battery was bloated just 1h ago and this video helped me (to not be scared of open the Keylight 😂). Mine has only 3 years old but this happened anyway... It was a pain to remove it from the adhesive though😅launch
