The Yamaha AG06MK2 is almost perfect for my use case, only missing really for me is that it doesn't have a dedicated separate monitor knob for channels 1-2. The \"Monitor\" knob is more of a master volume knob for headphone/headset for all sound sources while speakers also has a separate knob. What is the downside to this? If I can't hear myself well on my mic, I can't just fidget with the channel knobs because this will also affect what the audience hears. Usually from my experience, when using phone apps, what I hear from my mic is lower than what the audience hears on those apps. It would be nice for the next version of AG06 to add a separate monitor knob for channels 1-2, so I can change how much I hear from the mic or guitar without changing the volume of what the audience hears.\n \nAlso other additional info I discovered with the Yamaha AG06 MK2:\n\n-Aux port is an input/output port. This is what you need to send audio to a phone or tablet, not the USB connection with a laptop/phone symbol at the rear beside the 5V DC power port. In my experience the USB port gives mic static output audio to the phone. The aux port has a similar function to an earphone so it can both receive audio and send audio (from channels 1-6 + loopback from PC if switched on) to a phone. This is useful for singing/karaoke apps or performing livestream as a musician to a phone on any social media app. The separate charging port for the AG06MK2 is also a bonus so the phone's battery doesn't get drained fast! For phones that does not have an audio jack, a 3.5 mm to USB C or lightning dongle will be needed.\n\n- Reverb is lowered a bit by default in the Yamaha AG Controller app so at first use you may not hear it that much especially your audience, in livestreaming apps. Slide it at full to the right in the app.\n\n- Channel 2, which has both a guitar and mic icon also has comp/eq but no physical button. If you are wondering if using a mic in Channel 2, does it have a compressor and eq, yes it does, you can change it or turn it on/off by using the sliders in compressor and eq under CH 2 - E. Guitar/Clean in Yamaha AG Controller app. Channel 1's comp/eq button is only for channel 1 not for channel 2, you can test this by looking at what happens to channel 1 and 2's compressor and eq after pressing the button, it should be greyed out if off but Channel 2 does not change.\n\n-Console files in the Yamaha AG Controller app is where you save your settings, so you can load different ones for every use case scenario. In edit, you cannot really change anything, other than the name, after you save a setting.\n\n- Mix/Minus is just a mute button for channels 1 and 2. This button does not mute channels 3-6.\n\n-Yamaha Steinberg USB Driver/Control Panel app from Yamaha website is needed for ASIO connection (like with a DAW). It is a separate app other than the Yamaha AG Controller app, to change and set the latency and sample size of the AG06MK2.
