Great video. I'm actually thinking about getting a Yamaha AG03MK2 with a Shure SM58 microphone. I was debating between the Yamaha mixer and a Scarlett Solo audio interface. What I like about the Yamaha is being able to monitor my voice with the EQ/compression/reverb effects. But I didn't want to sacrifice vocal recording quality, because I know the Shure SM58 works well with the Scarlett. But I liked how it sounded; I'll probably buy the same combo.

Hi, I saw you have a microphone that appears to be a Shure SM58. Does it work well with this console? Does the Yamaha provide enough gain to use it for things like singing and recording vocals in a DAW like Reaper, or even singing on a live stream on YouTube/Twitch using OBS? I'm about to buy the Yamaha AG03MK2 and the Shure SM58 for that purpose, but I'm torn between the Yamaha and the Scarlett Solo. I like the option of monitoring my voice with reverb/EQ/compression effects, but recording the raw sound and then editing it in post-production. However, I want good vocal recording quality, like the Scarlett provides, even if it means losing some of its features. Thanks a lot.
