My current phone is an X80 Pro. Before I had a Huawei P30Pro. The P30 Pro was the best mobile phone I've had, the system was very well balanced, excellent pictures, impeccable technical support, what's more, the perfect phone. Unfortunately, Vivo lacks all of the above. The catastrophic operating system, with the new Update to FunTouch 14, seems to be doing better. Yes the phone Hardware is a beast, but the software leaves much to be desired. IPhone phones, hardware maybe is a Middle Range compared to the top Android phones, but the clean operating system makes the difference. I think several times if I will buy Vivo again.launch

I am a person who does not use the front video so not an issue.\n\nMy biggest grip is the chipset that does not support a 2k screen. This is a massive negative given the camera quality. \n\nIf they nring out an ultra version with a Snapdragon chip in China with the nee sensor fron Sony I would wait.\n\nYou should get the band 20 on origin os better software for the same price. You will get a better screen as well.\n\nIf they then good make all the kits and add ons plus other service add ons watches etc work in English at least they could rival Samsung to more than a niche narket.launch

And it doesn't even use the latest SONY Lytia 900 (1\") sensor. If in Europe this phone had the Chinese price range, would be a super bargain! Brava Vivo, because they are trying each and every year to improve the image quality of their phones. Some people say the Chinese version of the OS (Origin OS 4) is way better than the international version. I do like the phone. Too bad for the ultra-wide camera not so wide, too bad it's not flat, too bad it does throttle, but it's a damn good phone. Well done, Vivo and well done review, Chris!launch

Looks very impressive for sure, but kind of wish it wasn't using that dated curved display design, looks like a phone from 2018 or something. As usual lack of 4K is always ridiculous, but maybe they are saving that for the Pro Plus? Also very annoying that the china version with originOS doesnt support LTE band 20, as the prices ive seen are amazing. Not seen the international version with FuntouchOS for sale anywhere as of yet.launch

0:09 I'm totally flabbergasted over the fact that this Vivo X100 phone can shoot a 10x zoom, crystal clear photo in low light conditions or dark places. 0:09 shooting in dark places in the zoom mode is what has me totally hypnotized. The two Titans of phone makers got to be aware of this splendid zoom capture in low light conditions. 3:28 Xiaomi flat sides and gorgeous Bezel-less screens are splendid to watch. A curve screen does have a certain amount of aesthetic but it's useless to read on and to work with. 8:29 Even at 10x (600mm) it produces jaw dropping, crystal clear details, a quality to mesmerise upon.launch

Currently using Vivo X80 Pro. The Night photography is excellent, the details are better than S23 and over all its a great phone. Not a fan of curved screen but had to compromise for the quality of night shots. The shining glass frame around the camera takes smudges easily and cast flares when photos are taken standing close to lighting objects. And the videos shot in cinematic mode misses the separation from the background of humans or moving objects most of the time. And in bright sunlight video quality seems to be bad or over sharpened. Never fixed these after all these updates in the last 1.4 yrs of usage. Are these fixed in the new X100 pro? Or Probably will wait for X100 Pro+, if it's coming and hoping that it will have front camera 4k video and a larger and higher area of 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor like in X80 Pro.launch

your presentation with such excitement adds a value for the product you review 😅 ,, but from what i ve seen specially with my previous experience with X80Pro ,, vivo tends to add tonal contrast to the final imaging processing to give you this punching colors specially at night , also i ve noticed from the pics u ve attached that Ai is doing weird stuff to the final result as if its guessing the scene and adding to it to make the pic looks great specifically with the aggressive noise reduction then masking sharpness to 50% ,, also from 2x to 4.3x the image quality is falling apart to give a clean image... the phone has nice camera but i don't think its working alone ,, Ai is doing its things .. take a zoom photos of faces and see for yourselflaunch

Thank you for the review. For the first time I switched to a Chinese phone, before that I used top Samsung for 10 years. Compared to the S23 Ultra, the Vivo X100 Pro is much better in cameras, it's absolutely a different level. Samsung has fallen far behind in cameras even from iPhone, they need to catch up. The Vivo X100 Pro has an excellent powerful processor (by many tests more powerful and cooler than Snapdragon 8g3), wonderful battery life, fast and accurate face unlock (works almost like Face ID on iPhone), bright and vibrant display (screen flickering is one of the most minimal, eyes don't get tired from AMOLED screen, DC Dimming can be enabled in developer settings), phenomenal charging speed — 30 minutes and 100 percent 🔋 (charger included without Apple and Samsung's fake eco theme). There are also downsides, but overall they are not significant: - Speakers 4 out of 5 (iPhone 15 Pro Max and S24 Ultra have better ones), but overall not bad. - Haptic feedback is average in quality (again, Samsung, Apple and OnePlus have better haptics). - It's hard to find a working position for wireless charging, some wireless chargers from Samsung simply don't work with Vivo. - Personally I'm missing the S Pen and the huge rectangular display of the S23 Ultra. Also the front camera hole on the X100 Pro is very large. Bottom line: if you need maximum camera capabilities, then the Vivo X100 Pro is currently the best option.launch
