If you connect two of the 3.3Ft ones together, can you use one power source or do you need to connect both to a power source even when they are connected?\n\nCurrently Amazon has 3.3 ft on sale for 19.99 and 6.6ft are $45. If only one power source is needed, then I can't see the benefit in just getting the 6.6ft one. Is that correct?

I love these lights. High quality, cheaper than Lifx Z and Hue Neon. But I have a problem that I can’t find an answer for. I know its possible to cut and rejoin any of these types of styles of lights so they can go around corners and obstacles so you have a continuous circuit from one controller. \n\nBut the issue is KASA covered the RGB indicators on the strip. Its the first strip lights I don’t see the pin arrangement printed on the tape. \n\nMy previous Sengled strips had 5 pins +WRGB was the arrangement. \n\nIf I know the arrangement I can get solderless clamshell connectors and go strip light crazy using the extension packs and the solderless connectors. My goal is to get channels with a diffuser and mount them around my wall so it lights up my ceiling for a nice ambience or full even lighting.\n\nYou wouldn’t happen to know the pin arrangement would you?

So the Kasa has no sound reaction at all? Even the most basic dollar store light strip has that feature and ive heard good things about the Kasa strip so i ordered it assuming it would have the most basic light strip function. Now if i get ir and it doesnt i will have to return it. Very very stupid on tp links part if thats the case. Its not like its a rare option that only a few competitors offer, everyone offers its. Tp link kasa is the undoubted king of light strips from what i have read so they should act like it. Would you buy a Cadillac without an engine? Ofcourse not. Your new Caddy would have the best engine possible. Just sayin
