I almost didn't get this bc of all the issues people had with ANC and Bluetooth being activated at the same time. However, in order to avoid the sound quality drop with people’s voices, you need to connect to Bluetooth first on your device, then turn on ANC. From there I got the same feeling as I did when I first tried my AirPods Pro ANC and was blown away. Definitely worth it after years of the Arctic 5 and the hot swap batteries feature makes it even more worth itlaunch

Finally retired my wireless pros (gave me in the ball park of 6 years) and have the nova pros now, just today actually. That battery charging station is a game changer, it's endless power. Towards the end of the 6 years, and probably before that, the batteries lost their longevity, currently getting around 5-8 hours a charge, a piece, but damn did these headphones last me. Still sound great, still comfortable, still work perfectly outside of battery life, which they can't help. WORTH EVERY PENNY. Fully expect my new set to last me just as long. I even have the white ones and they still look good.launch

I own the Astro A50 X LIGHTSPEED in White & I can say that the Steelseries ANP is 100% better. From the battery to the sound quality, its just way better, however the comfort may vary depending on x person. Furthermore, I havent had any issues with comfort. Im a professional cod player & the steelseries ANP is great, directional audio is more detailed than the A50 by miles. The A50 are just marketed as a bassy device, so they're more for story games like TLOU, God of War & such. But they do work well for gaming, still prefer the Steelseries. \n\nDurability might have to go to the A50 as they have more metal on the pressure points, The steelseries are more plastic which can be a downside for some. I personally havent had any creaks or breaks/ defects on either one. \n\nAll in all. I suggest the Steelseries ANP as they reign over the A50 in about 9/10 aspects. Hope this helpslaunch

watched a few reviews already on these and was not sure if I could justify it, what really did it for me, was the dual input connectivity. being able to swap from PC to my PS5 with ease is gonna be huge for me. also as a fellow Sonar user, seeing the little base station have so much control over things without having to open up the app is super nice. good video, I purchased these mid-way through the video and after watching the rest and seeing the few cons, I am stoked!\n\nAnd in case you were wondering what I am upgrading from, the Arctis nova 7. they are fine and get the job done for sure but I finally felt ready for a real upgrade, and happy to be staying in the SS gang.launch

5:54 actually if you get the XBOX version it works with all devices and consoles meanwhile PlayStation works with everything BUT Xbox. This is because Xbox uses a Microsoft security authentication chip meanwhile PlayStation does not use an authentication chip. So your better off getting the Xbox one even if your a PlayStation player that way if u ever resell OR switch over or go to a friends house who uses Xbox you can use it on literally anythinglaunch

I'm not one to ever buy expensive/high end headsets but the thing that made me jump to order these was the universal compatibility. I've been looking for a headset that can wirelessly work across both PS5 and Xbox Series X....and finally, this headset does it!!\n\nBeing able to use only one headset for both of my consoles was enough for me on its own, but also being able to use them as regular headphones over Bluetooth, listen to both console audio and Bluetooth audio at the same time, active noise cancelation and transparency mode...ahhh an hot swappable batteries that charge directly on the dac!!!!! Just a note, you can use the headphones with both the Xbox and PS5, you just need to get the Xbox version. \nOne of the USB-C ports is specifically designed for the Xbox but the other port can be used for anything else (PC, PS5, Switch etc)launch

i use the Headset for serveral years now and never could been happier with one. Switched the Ear Pads an Head band once and still using the same batteries for 3 years now or something. Best Headset ever, never gonna use a different one. Its so comfortable i can wear them for 8 hours straigt, no pain. Only problem is the Mic, but due to the fact that i am using a different mic, no issue for me.\n\nBeing able to watch Videos on my phone or calling someone without muting or annoying my mates is such a big bonus also.launch

I have both the A50X and the Nova pro's, and everytime when i try the A50X i fall back to the Nova's after 1 or 2 days. The A50X has (for me) so much discomfort on top of my head that is need to take them off and give my head some rest. If i put them on to quickly after rest or go over my limit i get headaches for the rest of the day. Sound is to discuss on both headsets, i like the Nova's sound due to the better direct audio compared to the A50X. Its not to harch sounding, get pretty loud and has in my opinion the better comfort. Both headsets i appointed are modded with Wicked Chusion stealthz pads from gadgetryTech and custom headbands (Nova's with a wider headband and the A50X with a thicker headband/pad).launch

The ability to use both inputs at the same time was the main feature I loved in Pro Wireless. Here I need to select one or another. Also after prolonged use I feel uncomfortable pressure on the outside of my ears...\r\nOverall my feelings are mixed after the upgrade. it does sound a bit better and the headband is better for my rather large head. ANC is... not very useful for me, it doesn't block out kids playing and I don't have a lot of noises that it does block out at home (if you're using a gaming headset to commute... just don't :D). I'd rather prefer velour earcups (it was an option on Pro Wireless, doesn;t block outside sound, but they are soft and don;t get sweaty) to ANC.\r\nPlus they've removed optical port, that allowed me to just connect it to the TV and play sound from whatever source is active at the time (PS5, switch, TV itself) + the PC + the phone. You can kind of do it with AUX port, need to research about sound quality through that.\nThe battery life is much better, but that doesn't matter a lot since you always have a spare battery charged up and ready to go anyway. And it's pretty minor, but the battery, while smaller, is harder to both get out of the dock and place into the headset. Muscle memory will probably adjust to that, but still...\r\nIt improves over the Pro Wireless in a lot of ways, it feels like a downgrade in others.\n\nThat being said, it's still a great headset, only competition it has is Astro A50 (and that thing doesn't f**ing work half of the time). But if you don't have a big head, consider Pro Wireless, you can find it at big discount at this point, sound quality is roughly the same.launch

i really like being able to connect to two sources simultaneously with the bluetooth and having a battery swap out. But the headband is terrible and the ear cups are meh. I replaced them with third party ones which are so much better (especially with a couple of smaller cushions on the sides to compensate my pointy head to even out the pressure!). The absolutely most annoying hate I have with this headset is the battery-low indicator beep that is insistent and perpetual and makes you swap the battery right away. It's possibly the only electronic device I own at the moment that doesn't do a 2-stage warning with some breathing room in between. The second annoyance is not having a pause button - I understand they justify the omission on a gaming headset but still, by making it also double as a regular headset they could have widened their market. I use it to listen to stuff on my computer while bluetoothed to my iphone or steamdeck for light games. Sometimes I get up to the kitchen or bathroom and I'd like to be able to pause. Was it too much to add a pause function back into a headset?launch

Watched a bunch of reviews on this headset, but your video was what ultimately made me pull the trigger and buy 'em. Can't tell you how satisfied I am with them. It's just jam packed with features. One feature I haven't seen mentioned anywhere; You can use them without a battery, with either the 3.5 to 3.5 aux cable or the 4 pole to 3.5 cable, and if you use the 4 pole to 3.5 to connect to a device like your phone, you can actually plug in a secondary headset through it's 3.5 mm port, and it'll pass the sound through to that headset too! It's multitude of connection options was what made me consider this thing initially.launch

I have two pairs of these, they are fucking incredible and untouched still on the pro wireless headphone market. Don't forget that you can wire out from the headphones to a friend, just use a 33 mm cable and he or she will be able to hear everything you hear, but I guess without the DTS effect.\nIts an incredible thing to hear a surround field from your gaming while getting a stereo feed from your phone at the same time, incredible how the HPs manages that without any problems. I just ordered a set of these from SteelSeries because I have had the TB Stealth 700 and Elite 800 both total plastic garbage and the Astro A50 garbage that has not had a firmware update since December 19th 2016 and they are total garbage also, so spending the $329.00 for these is really nothing since they offer so much more than the others .I can finally have a comfortable and great sounding headset to play my PS4 with. Finally no more jumping around getting junk and having to return it plus when you buy from steel you get a bag for the headset and a extra set of leather ear cups for free, and free shipping and no tax.launch
