These microphones are very good but they are very sensitive to moisture! I had one I hadnt used for a year or so and there was a sputtering sound I had no idea what it was the mic was stored in the room the room wasnt particularly damp but here in the uk we have had a lot of rain so I presume it got slightly damp I left it with a dehumidifier for two days and its nearly perfect now the odd hiccup but its nearly working perfect so remember keep this mic in a dry enviroment and all condensors as they dont like moisture at all although from what ive seen no permanent damage has happened luckily but be aware they dont like it

Hi! I have the sE2200a II C but can't get it to work on a scarlett 2i2. It works with a a dynamic Shure mic but the scarlett isn't detecting the condenser. I am using phantom power. I can't confirm that the sE actually works . But it is just out the box. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
