I posted this elsewhere as well, but Im an Iphone user for the last 13 years. When I saw the s22 ultra commercial and its design I just loved the way it looks. Some weeks ago I got to see it and touch it in a shop here in Sweden and I absolutely fell in love, and bought it directly! Since I bought it I cant stop looking at it, touch it and play with it. Its really a luxury thing with tons of multitasking! Just split screen in android was an \"ahaaa experience for me\".\nAnd yes im willing to sacrifice my apple eco system involvement as well for this. Love it!launch

The S22 Ultra is a beast. I've seen an extreme amount of movies on youtube and the like in the last week and every time I came to the same conclusion; The S22 Ultra is still the best smartphone out there right now. I'm not saying in all compartments, not that, but overall it's definitely the best. The others that are also good and have their positive points are the iPhone 13 pro max and the new Xiaomi 12s Ultra, although I must say that I expected more from the 12s Ultra. The Find x 5 Pro is also a good smartphone, but I notice in many videos that the device still suffers from stuttering during video filming and that is something you really don't want to have. Many people complain about the curved screen, I don't, I like it very much, it makes the smartphone more beautiful + there is still a cover around so it doesn't bother me. The screen of the S22 Ultra is also to die for, you pay the same or more for an iPhone, but the screen of the iPhone leaves something to be desired. I can already see the difference between the two. The S22 Ultra is also a beast in terms of brightness, I can read everything perfectly in full sun and with sunglasses on, I've never had this with a smartphone until now. Also some people say that the device is slow? That's a bit true, but you have to do 3 things; Turn on remove animation in the settings, then set the performance to the highest with battery and then activate the developer settings and you turn off the animation 3 times and then the S22 Ultra will fly. ;).launch

And frankly I am so glad with the performance and display of this thing. \n\nThe S-pen really is something else, but if I am honest I probably won't be using it too much in everyday use, but I'd rather have the option to use it whenever I want.\n\nAnd as for the battery life debacle, well, I could easily get through a work-day without worrying it'll konk out since I keep my brightness moderate, only using FHD+ (the QHD I sometimes use for Netflix viewing), and not in 100% brightness blast since I don't wanna burn my retinas with all that nits. The 45W charge support is kind of a mystery since whenever I put it on my GaN 100W charger it will sometimes measure up to 5500 or even 6000 ma (1000 = 10W charging) when it's not heating up over 40 C and it was kinda interesting that it can charge that fast in short period before it throttle down to like 33W later (which is probably why it still needs 1 hour to charge up from 0 to 100%)\n\nI'm using the Ampere app from Playstore to do the measurement btw, not the most accurate like it was with those measuring devices but yeah, it's something at least.\n\nPutting that aside, I definitely love this phone based on just its massive screen, quad HD display and that dynamic amoled x2 display, and of course the S-pen.\n\nFor me though, I need a good case to protect my investment, so I ordered the Supcase UB Pro for it too, in black color of course.\n\nKeep doing what you do, man.launch

Saw this at Best Buy today. I like the plus model for the size, thinness and square edges with flat screen.But I must say the camera is amazing on the ultra. Used the selfie cam in store and on the Ultra, the level of depth and sharpness of edges of my head was amazing. It felt like (from a lower angle), the ceiling in the background looked like it was super close, and far at the same time. Pretty hard to describe but amazing quality and definitely noticeable. \nAls, not sure if it’s just me, but the s22 phones feel significantly lighter in weight and definitely feels great\nBy the way! To take advantage of the screen brightness, go into the brightness settings and turn on “extra brightness”. It actually gets much much brighter!launch

I love that battery protect feature that limits the charge to 85%. I will be definitely using that. I've literally done that (manually) for the last 3 years on my Note 9. That's one of the major ways you make a battery perform well for years. The other is limit discharging to about 30/40%.launch

Most reviews say nothing about the improved modem over the past few years x50 to x55 x60 x65 ect. It is HUGE as far as connectivity to LTE and 5G network bands. Now they are incorporated into the CPU instead separate like on the note 20 ultra and prior and are absolutely monumental for good reception and speed. One of the most important features taken for granted and never reviewed. This phone with series 8 gen 1 has the most advanced modem to date for excellent connectivity and speed in the most remote places.launch
