Thank you for the video. I recently purchased them, people just cant hear me, my samsung galaxy s24 ultra built in mic is way better. even the samsung buds are so much better than this, I can't believe, I saw some many reviews of this device, people just can't hear me or understand me when there is noise. seems like the AI software goes crazy when there is noise. do you know if there could be a known issue?. I've even done some tests by starting a meeting with myself, record it and as soon as I play music on an external device, my voice becomes so horrible and unclearlaunch

I love the look, but can you hear people in zoom really clearly just like with a basic wired earphones? So far my wired earphones (super basic pair) perform way better (including mic of course) compared to my solo buds, marshall motif, peats breezy.launch

Multiple users describe active noise cancelling as almost non-existent or inconsistent in testing, and find the toggle between ANC and transparency mode confusing, especially mid-call. Call center and open-office users specifically worry background sound still leaks through.

The Noise Cancelling is almost non existent with my Poly buds. I have it activated but have tested it several times with background noise still coming up on calls and voice memo tests. I haven't tried on my PC but for the price I paid for these - I'm wondering am I doing something wrong?launch

Turning ANC on/off is not very easy. On the case, it shows that Transparency is off, but it's not easy to determine how to change it to On. In fact, if you figure out how to turn it off/on, you cannot do it during a call for some odd reason. The other annoying thing is that if I am on a call someone near me makes a ton of noise, the volume does not increase automatically to compensate like my Sony WF-1000XM4 does.launch

Thanks for the review. You convinced me not to try them.\nFor 3+ years, I've been searching for a suitable replacement for my Plantronics Voyager Edge (last produced ~2017). I am so disappointed this is the best Poly could do. To be fair, I've not tried the Free 60, but from your review and the comments:\nFor starters:\n- the case is too big. The Edge AND it's charging case fit in a shirt pocket with room to spare for a pair of reading glasses.\nIs the case for the base model (sans touch-screen and USB-receiver slot) any smaller? My notebooks all have bluetooth, so I don't really care about a dedicated USB receiver. Plus, a stand-alone USB BT adapter is like ~$20.\n- As others have asked, why compare to to AirPods, who's users are primarily concerned with music?\nIf this is for business users, we need a direct comparison with the 5200, and if you can find one, a Plantronics Voyager Edge. According to @someguynj, the call quality doesn't measure up. Perhaps update your review with more appropriate competition.\n\nI've tried the 5200. It works well, but it is too big for my use. The case is nearly the size of a phone. Where am I going to put it between calls? I had two Bose Bluetooth Headset Series 2. That was ten years ago, yet, they were smaller and had great call quality. Those are neat, but the shape of the buds is wonky, the screen saps too much power and the price is even more outrageous. Someone gave me a pair of Raycons, and even though I think they're overpriced, since they were a gift it's fine, but they're like a fourth of the price and they have a better shape. Plus the case can recharge them 4 times and they last nearly an entire day, listening to music and watching YouTube with them, and they don't beep a lot at me either. If they weren't a gift and the foam on my old wired headphones rotting away I would never have bought ear buds for myself, but I've gotten so used to not having a wire that I don't think I could go back anymore.launch

Hi EBPMAN, I follow your reviews for years now and your review of the POLY 60 FREE looked great so I ordered them. I received them, updated the case and the pair and the went into a dissolution! \n\nThe unboxing : it looks like some kind of ware house product, and totally not in adéquation with the price of the product. But after using it, the boxing is in line with the quality of the Poly 60 FREE.\n\nThe main selling point : the call quality : \n In a normal coffee shop the call quality was just so bad, I had people on the other side of the line telling me that they heard every thing around and asked me to change headset or call back. \nNothing like what you showed in your review and totally in line with the reviews from PC MAG and others. \nAlso while driving, the person could hear other noise around.\n\nThe Windshield : it's just a joke ? People on the other side of the line get amplified wind in their ears.\n\nThe case with the LCD screen is great and really practical. If the headset kept it's promises\n\nNoise cancelling is ok but not worth the price tag\n\nNext day maybe better...\nI used some of the other head sets that I have and then moved back to the POLY's 60 the next morning. First call and first complaints strait away from the other person on the other side. \"Call me back with something better\"\n\nI have other headset like the POLY 5200, the SHOKZ opencomm, JABRA 85 evolve2, JABRA 65 evolve2 and the EARFUN PRO 3 (I have not seen your test of EARFUN Pro 3?) and I have moved back to them.\n\n Maybe that I was unlucky and had a bad set, but at 300€ the quality control should be there. Your review looked so fantastic and expectations were really high. But at the end there is just no way to keep the head set for any reason so I sent the POLY FREE 60 back for a refund. The worst headset I have, it shall be office quality headset, but headset even not keep battery by 2h meetings. The headset someties forgot to charge, each of the headset has own live, when one has the 70% other has 9% battery. The Noise canceling is poor, its only good to use in office area, and not good enough to use with wind and traffic. Its quite big size and looks rediculus. After one year its keep battery only one to to hours. I have sent one on service and got new one but the new one is alse poor, so even from morning time to lunch are not good enoug to hear music and sit with meetings.launch

battery life is too low. i need wireless buds with 8+ hours. stopping to charge for a few minutes is fine, but not multiple times a day. since i'd be charging for about 5 minutes at a time.\nI really need earbuds with wireless charging in the buds. so i can put them on a charge mat and charge them directly.launch

Important thing you forgot(or wasn´t allowed) to mention for workday earbuds is battery life. The buds themselves, without the case, need to be able to last a full 8-9 hour workday. Maybe even more, if i would want to use them on the commute as well.launch

I would discourage anyone even thinking about these earphones. Do not buy! This is a waste of money - the buds are big and do not sit in your ears well nor comfortably - when you speak and move your jaw the buds will become loose which is annoying. Sound quality is mediocre - you will not enjoy music on these. Additionally when eveyrhing is silent you can hear electronic sounds- squicks and buzzes. This is annoying. For the price these are offered it is ridiculous. You are much better off with soundcore liberty 4 NC. I am using these buds now which fit much better in ear, do not get loose even if you speak or run with them. Sound is much better and microphone is comparable. No problems using these on msteams as well.launch

These are ok for PC but bad for calls on the phone. Microphones can't pick up voice over any ambient noise. They're ok with Teams or Zoom on PC. Also don't fit all ears well. Finding that they keep falling out for me regardless of which size tip. For the price they should be awesome at everything.launch

Sorry to be negative about a sponsor, especially since this product may completely bypass a problem but I wanted to warn corporate users about something I've found with recent Poly hardware: a some of the new Poly hardware has some really poor behaviour unless \"Poly Lens\" is running the whole time, compared to older Plantronics devices that only needed to have the Plantronics Hub running to complete firmware updates. \nUnfortunately this makes their newer hardware useless in a corporate environment unless your company is willing to install the Lens software (admin access required) and permit the app to connect to the web, to pull in data, updates, etc (i.e. no company with any cyber security standards).\nThis product raises some interesting options around having a transmitter though, but I think it still relies on the UC adapter to work as a headset... need to watch the full review and read into it more and understand quite how \"independent\" from any software it is, it might save me from having buying up all the old Plantronics DECT hardware, just so I have spares.launch
