This made it a practical, if not glamorous, entry point into 3070 ownership for many buyers.

Cooling is generally strong, but factory paste and pads leave room for improvement. Several owners report very cool temps out of the box, such as 48C under 95% load or 65C max even in a warm room. However, others found factory paste subpar, with repasting dropping temps by as much as 30C and quieting the fans noticeably.
