I just got one of these amps and I was happily impressed in how close it emulates a Marshall tone. The crunch channel is also great for SRV and Blues type tones, as you demonstrated. The reverb and delay are really decent for a little practise amp too, and the ability to store settings is a real time saver, especially if you're jamming or rehearsing with a band. It could, however, greatly benefit from a better speaker, like the Celestion Eight 15 ( or better ), as would most small amps, as this is one area where manufacturers of economical combo amps usually try to save money.\nTwo definite low points of this amp are the back panel that is made of cheap, painted MDF ( for SHAME! Who designed this, IKEA? ), and the lack of an external fuse holder. If you want to change the fuse or look inside for any reason the tightly fitted, fragile back is very hard to pry loose without damaging it. Not only that but Marshall couldn't even bother to put a notification on the amp of what value fuse it requires! That being 400 mA, by the way, which is an uncommon value and hard to source. I'm using a much more common 500 mA for now, and so far so good, but the fact that Marshall did not even indicate the fuse rating on the amp is just irresponsible, whether it's in the manual or not.\nOverall I found it to have great sounds, but the cheap back is not built to last, but it can be upgraded with a new plywood back and speaker.
