Nochmal, gut gemacht. I think you fairly assessed and nailed most of the main points. \n\nI think the UNO Synth Pro sounds extremely good. With the dual-filter setup, I can get a substantial growl out of it (not unlike an MS20), and combining that with the distortion, it has some SERIOUS sonic ass-kicking potential. The feel of the keyboard keybed is one of the best ones I have, and possibly one the most enjoyable-to-play synths I own. Again, based on sound alone, I think this synth rocks.\n\nWhat sucks about it? First, the tank-like build coupled with a power supply plug that feels like it might snap off in a strong wind. They took a wall wart power supply and plug, and amazingly made it even more flimsy than they usually are. Second, it's an analog monosynth that can't replicate old, analog monosynth behavior. What do I mean? When glide is turned on and playing legato (pressing the next key before the previous key is released), the only 2 settings on the UNO Pro are 1) the filter envelope retriggers from the start of the ADSR envelope with EVERY key press (semi-common for VA synths, I admit), OR the filter envelope triggers ONCE with the first key press and then maintains at the sustain stage with each successive note played legato. Most classic monosynths just inherit the filter envelope value with the second legato key press, giving the synth a smoother playing experience. Lastly, the user interface and OS at times feel kind of clunky and not always intuitive. It works, but it's not one of the easier synths to navigate that I've run into. I'm sure that's why they made the second, Pro X version, with lots of knobs, trying to improve the user experience.\n\nAnd yeah, the company seems to be close to worthless to interface with. Fortunately I haven't had any serious problems with the synth to deal with.\n\nBut hey, I did get it for a fairly low price (less than half what I paid for my Korg MS20 FS, which also sounds amazing, but has worse build quality, flimsier knobs, and a shitty, opsix-ish, toy-like keyboard feel)...so I can't complain TOO much, eh?
