An HDMI connection is known to introduce latency. Your latency examples with the M1 I think were all with an HDMI connection. Have you tested it with a direct SDI connection to your Komodo? Would be interesting to get an apples to apples comparison against the SmallHD, which showed no latency when connected via SDI to the Komodo.launch

Great review, I own one, powered via v-mount battery, as well as NPFs. \n\nYes it’s a great wireless client and team monitor, Doesn’t work well for follow focus, latency is quite bad for professional FF use. \n\nYes, The record button should have ideally been like the atomos triggers, that’s one strange feature how they built it for 2 min one clip, straaaange. \n\nOverall, good value for money product.launch

This thing paired with my 300 Pro transmitter once then I could never get them to pair again. And the picture is mushy and banding is absolutely brutal. It's going back. And take away even more points for not having an actual physical button to toggle False Color.launch

Hi, this is a great monitor, but it's lacking some features in my opinion as a professional DP. Could you please add 1.5x and 1.8x anamorphic de-squeeze function on the Mars M1 for videographers using anamorphic lenses. Even better: you could add a custom 1.0x to 2.0x stretch slider that can be used to preview any type of anamorphic lens. Could this be possible on a firmware update? Thanks.launch

Just bought 4 of these monitors. They're great! Tested them on a few shoots.\nIt's only missing a few important thing you could add to next firmware update.\n\n1. Crop mode 1:1 missing\n2. Ability to adjust gamma and signal level (full & legal) **very important for professionals**\n3. Ability to turn off transmission to save battery and just use as monitor.\n4. Transparent peaking that only improves sharpen not just color one.\n5. Rename \"Mute\" fan to \"low\" since it still keeps the fan on but a low rpm.\n6. RGB waveform \n7. Auto off/on when it detects HDMI on/off signal \n\nThanks,launch
