My question is why charge 800 dollars for a pro watch but only put gorilla glass and not sapphire in the first place knowing someone that is paying this much for a watch is more then likely going to take it through hell.. I have the fenix 6x pro.. then found out later that they had a sapphire version.. personally all of them should be made out of that. ?!launch

A good watch but Unless they can develop a self charging solar charge, they will always be 2nd to gshock. The days of having to regularly charge watches without a solar option is fast coming to an end.launch

The forerunner fenix line is way overpriced! the forerunner 245 is still expensive but it does the job, and the battery is superb over the fenix series! with the forerunner 245 no music, I have yet to have any funtionabilty problems, or physical damages to it.launch

The body battery is absolutely useless itm wearing my 6pro a week now and it’s missing hours of sleep after I wake early for the toilet and therefore messes up the whole system , sometimes my body battery on waking is 5-20 whilst in reality I’m fit to do a 90minute zwift ride then go to the gym and do heavy lifting , no recoding of naps and not impressed with this feature at alllaunch

Yes finally someone is looking at the things that are important on that watch.\nHowever since 1 week I have the Fenix6Xsaphire but one thing kills me...sleep tracking on the FENIX3hr (and the apple watch series 4)always given me deep sleep 1,5-3 hours. The Fenix6Xsaphire how ever gives me around 10-30 minutes. You had the same issue? \nBattery body levels seem ok...from point of feeling however the sleep isn’t what I expected. Do you have anything to say about the brightness and visibility of the sapphire display in normal lighting? A number of people have commented that fenix's with sapphire glass are less bright and hampered more by reflections than those with the gorilla glass display.launch

What was the brightness level of your 6X set to in the video?\n\nI just sent back my 6X sapphire today as in a dark environment even at 5% brightness the screen had a very washed out pink hue to it making the blacks look very washed out with hardly any colour on the screen. Needless to say if I put the brightness to 20% it made things even worse. \n\nInterested in your thoughts!launch

Its not a metal body. Its metal on the front face and the back plate, but all the stuff in between is made of plastic. Seriously. $1000 and the case is plastic. \n\nFrom a weight perspective thats a good thing, actually. But if you want all titanium construction you need to get the $2000 MARQ version.launch

Love the look of the fenix watches but I was disappointed by its performance. My last Garmin was the instinct. Love that watch and still use it. Anyway I tried the fenix tactix delta solar. I feel like the watch never really worked right. Non stop connection issues, which I’ve determined as normal. I’d walk ten feet away and the watch would disconnect. What’s the point of a smart watch that doesn’t let you know of notifications. My Instinct would never have these issues and it’s bt range was awesome. I’d easily say the Instinct has 3x times the range. I also had the apps connect and ConnectIQ especially freeze up. My Spotify never worked at all and I couldn’t get the other music apps to download without locking up. I tried multiple things that others have done with no success. the fenix 6 just has awful BT range and issues. The watch is just to expensive to not perform as well as my $250 Garmin at the minimum. I had to return it. On a side note badass looking watch and build quality.launch

Only problem with the watch is, it DOES NOT play all mp3 files for some reason ! And that is mega mega annoying. I have all my songs on my laptop in mp3 format, then I transfer them to my watch and when i listen to my music, always is the same problem. 5... songs play perfect and then the next song doesn't play -it's just silence. And I need to skip that song manually in the watch, from headphones, the watch doesn't allow to skip that song.launch

You are so right about the cable being too short! I bought generic cable that is longer but did not function as well as the Garmin cable and was thinner as well. Nice review and really appreciated!launch

In September 2020, I bought Garmin Fenix 6x Sapphire and made an overview. Two weeks later the watch began to make an annoying rattle sound during vibration. I contacted a shop and the watch was replaced in 1 month. \nAt the beginning of November, the new watch began to make an annoying rattle sound during vibration again! \n\nI am going to return Garmin Fenix to a shop.launch

2 yrs into my fenix 5x, battery life is getting short (short being charge every week) but otherwise it's been indestructible. I've given it hell! Stainless bezel is covered in scrapes and gouges, sapphire is still pristine. GPS takes long time to find location now too.launch
