Another neat review but what is the lag and latency like on video and audio. Trying to monitor live dialogue through headphones is a nightmare due to the lag on so many of these monitors. Is this one any better?launch

Hello Andrew. Another cheerfully presentation from you brightens up my day. I have a F5 Pro since August 2021. It's my first monitor and I was very happy to find a monitor priced so low that still had good reviews. I do have observations that maybe you can tell if the F7 Pro behaves the same way. It's about the power on/off button and the battery standby.\n1/ All it takes is an accidental touch on the power button and the unit instantly shuts off. There is no press and hold delay. A lot of shooting involves using touch on multiple pieces of equipment to find the correct function kills the whole monitor and you have to delay to get it turned on again.\n2/ When it is powered off the battery is still draining and will eventually go dead unless you remove it completely. That is really awkward and inconvenient.\nIf you have a contact at Feelworld to give feedback, I think these are things that could be changed in a firmware update.launch

I've had this monitor for a few months. It looks okay but I hate that even when you turn it off, it still drains the battery. When I'm on a shoot I have to continually take the battery off which is a real pain. I'd love to be able to run this off a battery bank because it really sucks the juice but I haven't found a good solution just yet. Lastly, having the buttons on the top of the monitor is really inconvenient. I' always end up fumbling around and pushing the wrong ones because I just can't see what I'm selecting.launch

I'll tell you why they only last that long. I have a feelworld not this one mines the 1280x800, and I love the monitor. The problem is when you shut off the monitor you might notice the light still on. I believe that the monitor is still draining off the battery while off. Even if it's not as much when on. When I'm filming weddings. I set up all my shots and if I'm ready say half an hour early I take the batteries out and then about 5-10 minutes before wedding or any other shoot I put them back in. I think they make great affordable monitors, and totally agree with you on the ballhead it's the worst. Another great review thanks Curtislaunch

Hi, my f7 make the battery empty if it is off. I Charged it to 100% and placed the battery (2200mAh was in the Set with the f7 ) and turned it on -> 100% battery -> i turned it off and after a few hours the battery is emptylaunch

My monitor doesn't show the image on all of its space, only the middle. It shows black borders around the image. Yours shows all of the space in the screen beingused. Is this a menu issue?launch

Not in love with the position of the ports on the bottom of the monitor. Since it has the feature to flip the screen, is it possible to install the sunhood upside down and mount the whole thing with the ports coming out of the top?\n\nOther than that cool video and I may be picking up this monitor myself. Great review! I have the FW760 for my G85. I love it, I did notice the HDMI is in a weird location on the F7. The FW760 is on the side along with the function buttons in the front of the monitor... a much better location. Plus the FW760 is about $10-20 cheaper on some on-line stores, with all the same features as the F7. **EDITED**launch

i just bought the FW760. The ports have all been moved to the side now. However, the power LED is still permanently on and is unecessarily bright.\nThe menu system has been changed and is hard to read, I can't see why they changed it.\nLastly, the exposure shown on display is frequently nothing like what is being recorded and i can't see the sense of it.launch

Great review! Just reveived my F7 PRO. Unfortunately the USB C dc input may be defective in my unit. No led light no power. Npf-battery and 12v dc input work just fine. It's a pity since I was planning to power this with a usb powerbank in my usecase. I tried several different usb c cables and powerbanks. None of them worked with F7 PRO whereas my older F5 PRO accepted all of them. Just curious if anyone else experienced same issue with F7 PRO usb c power?launch
