Watching this from my Fairphone 6, which I bought in Europe but I'm using it in South Africa. \n\nWhat I like:\n\n- Sustainable manufacturing\n- 5 year warranty & 8 year software support (although thus far this mainly seems to be bug fixes and security patches. Not new features. But I could be wrong in the future)\n- The availability of the moments feature\n- The camera. There are times where it is surprisingly good.\n- The look of the phone. I've actually had strangers ask me if this is the new iPhone. \n- The battery. Lasts me a whole day, even with a lot of use.\n- The repairability.\n- I really like their charging brick + cable. Charges fast and seems quite sturdy. \n\nWhat I don't like:\n- The Cameras (it has it's moments but if you start zooming in everything falls flat.\n- The placement of the power button and the volume buttons. It's too easy to take a screenshot by accident. Also, I agree with the reviewer. The power button isn't always easy to press.\n- The fingerprint scanner. I've had phones with under screen fingerprint scanners and I've had phones with scanners on the back. Both are nice solutions. I don't enjoy having it on the power button to be honest.\n- The size. Feels a little bit too big in my opinion. Doesn't always fit nicely in my pant pocket.\n- Software. Basically stock Android. Little customisation available. \n- Speakers. Not great tbh.\n- Lack of wireless charging\n- The case makes this large phone even larger and so I don't enjoy using it.\n\n\nThere may be some positive and negative things that I've forgotten. \n\nOverall, not a bad phone by any means, but as someone that comes from high-end phones I am honestly thinking of getting another high end phone with a better camera when I can afford it. \n\nHowever, I think this is a good phone to own even if I switch to something better later on. \n\nLet's say my main phone breaks, I can always swop back to this phone and simply get a battery replacement for it if it needs it. Allowing me to use a phone with good battery life while I save up for a new phone. \n\nI commend the Fairphone company. Making a phone is not easy and I think they've done an admirable job while being very consumer friendly. Just wish the phone was more pleasant to use.\n\n@Fairphone
