We have the Dyson Gen5outsize Absolute and the Dyson V11 Absolute. I tested with a area rug and the both on medium. The Gen5outsize Absolute put my V11 to shame and I had zero pet hair to remove from the beater bar on the Gen 5outsize Absolute. With three cats and three chow chows in the house this is the first time in 40 years I did not have to clean pet hair out of the beater bar after I vacuumed. The Dyson Gen5outsize Absolute is a very impressive cordless vacuum for us it is worth every cent. I just wish the fluffy brush was a XL size as well.

I’m a dog lover at heart. Cats are so pretty, funny and amusing. However, I’m very allergic to most cats. I haven’t figured out which breeds specifically so I usually admire from afar or watch them on YouTube videos. Lol \n\nI miss having a dog, but I don’t miss all the hair clean up. This vacuum is amazing. I’d trade in my current Dyson for it if I could.

I have seen several reviews now who expressed the debris counter feature not being worthy or mentioning or find it beneficial. I completely disagree. I’ve learned to deep clean my carpets actually watching the counter and listening to the vacuum auto adjust its power based on what it was picking up. I move slowly and leave the vacuum still when it detects a lot of particles. I thought this was a gimmick at first but then as I watched the canister fill up with sand, debris, and dust, I was amazed. I don’t always vacuum this way but every now and then, it’s amazing for deep cleaning. I used to wake up with a sore throat. I deep vacuumed my bedroom and felt much better after that. I love my Dyson

I will never use the dyson again after my last one. It was the biggest piece of garbage I ever owned in my life. It was the pet edition ($800) and it was nothing but problems and horrible customer service. I was so disappointed. Complete garbage. I know have an $800 vacuum. That doesn't work. And customer service won't do anything to help me out. NEVER BUY DYSON. NOT WORTH IT.
