I have the K70 Pro TKL which i got brand new off Amazon for £70 on prime day, i'm failing to see what this offers beyond the adjustable switch travel (other than the numpad obviously but that's a size format thing not a quality thing), it's identical beyond the triangular pattern visually, has all the media controls, mine also doesn't sound as bad as this (but still quite clunky) using the OPX switches, £70 is as much i would have payed for my keyboard, so this price is astronomical in comparison.launch

The loose USB is also an issue with the K70 TKL series. So bad it disconnected when I moved the keyboard on the desk. There's the key rattle too - I've got a lot of keyboards, but the Corsair have always been far more rattly sounding and loose than anything else. Less on gimmicks like 8000hz polling and variable actuation and more on quality please Corsair. You'd have to go a long way before I'd swap my Glorious and Akko boards for a similarly priced Corsair.launch

It's a hall effect keyboard. You are missing the point. The only other one people are really buying is the wooting and that is $200 for a 60 percent. This is $20 more for a full sized keyboard that works with icue. Just lube the stabilizers...launch

I did start with a K70 a decade ago. An MX Brown K70 RGB. Eventually I modded a usb C port onto it and foam modded it, but due to the non standard bottom row I can't be arsed to improve it any further. It's also useless in gaming sessions due to how bloody loud the stabilizers are. I've been debating a replacement ever since, but as I barely use it I've been procrastinating on that decision.\nAnd don't get me started on ICUE. It's caused me so many game crashes and failed heists in GTA V. And they make their keyboards totally reliable on their software but then also don't provide a version that runs on Linux? I'm flabbergasted that that's still the case today.launch

O dont quite understand how they went backwards in terms of build quality, first of all the wrist wrest is awful when compared to the previous ones, secondly why plastic body instead of aluminium? Where is a usb passthrough? Why does it cost more than my two previous k70s combined? I had k70 mk2 low profile that I bought for 130 and k70 opx for 120 euros...lmao. I find the choice for plastic next to a metal backplate always so cheap. Do the entire thing in metal or plastic and make it premium some other way, like lubing the switches, or provide better keycaps or include a more high end cable. HyperX can do an entire aluminium case for their Alloy Origin keyboards (which aren't even that expensive) so why can't others.\n\nI've had two keyboards from Corsair now that had this weird electrical beep coming from the RGB, so I gave up on the brand as far as keyboards go.\nAlso, how long are they going to stretch this design?launch

I tried this keyboard a while back and my verdict was the wrist rest too high for my palm and the stabs felt worse than last generation’s OPX which I prefer to use. For reference I use A K60 Pro TKL with a Razer Tenkeyless Wrist Restlaunch
