If you don't like Shoes, just leave.\n\nAnd just to add about the phone, I think my three biggest gripes are \n1. The price \n2. Only 2 major OS updates promised, which is insane for that much money \n3. Cameras aren't that good, though it is a gaming phone. But for that much money, man it just needs better cameras.launch

After all, for 799 euros you have the RedMagic 10 Pro at 16gb RAM 512gb storage 144hz screen with a built-in fan already in the phone I find them more powerful and much cheaper than Asus. I've had 2 ROG phones, and my favorite feature is still the Arrow active cooler controller, which I wish they would make Bluetooth so that it can connect to any phone. I think my biggest gripe with the rog phones in general are the cameras and the clunky software.launch

I already revew almost everything but I am afraid of mobile heating because I had rog 5 and playing zeless zone zero game it heated like hell temperature raizing very fast reached to 50 percent \nAlso I am not using the Air cooler so can you please say something about using rog 9 pro without the air cooler is it working fine and not heat so muchlaunch

I have an Asus ROG Phone 6 personally and I advise against the Asus ROG series I'll explain: 👇👇👇👇👇👇 over time the phone doesn't last long just over 1 year for me phone very ergonomic very powerful simple to use but with very big flaws such as: 1- the camera which creates bootloops (restart loop that can last hours or even days or it can last 30 seconds) 2- overheating that can reach 50 degrees and strongly damages batteries (more details later) 3- talking about battery for me the battery swelled to lift the back glass of the phone so during a period having no choice but to sleep next to a time bomb be careful about temperature because Asus ROG batteries resist poorly to heat and can swell until they explode 💥 4- various system bugs (apps that tend to bug for no reason, problem with localization so GPS problem etc...) 5- In case of problems such as for example the battery the parts don't exist anywhere else than at Asus 6- important point ☝️ in terms of repair practically impossible to repair to the point where even mobile repairers can't do it so in case of work it will cost you more than the phone 7- immense camera quality forget the photos the videos (even if we don't care we're here for games 😉) 👉 I'm talking about my personal experience with Asus 👈 tell me your feedback on the ROG but for me very bad experience 👎 so at your own risk with Asus ROG be very careful 👌✌️launch

I don't need the overly gamery look, but here Asus just made a Zenfone chassis and added some bling to it, something like Redmagic 10 Pro looks a lot more interesting and high tech (and also has bigger battery and no camera hole).launch

The design of this series after ROG 5 is getting progressively worse: the camera bump is annoyingly massive and uncentered; bezels around the screen are uneven; back LEDs don't make sense with just two colors, they should have been either mono- or multi-color; matte texture sucks; transparent glass bits were removed; power and volume buttons aren't colored anymore. And where are the front firing speakers? They're now on the sides, where we can easily cover them with our hands! They even added that awful camera butthole-cutout in the screen. I remember, they were proud that their phones didn't have one.launch

The rear LED screen has little official or community support for customization, and unlocking special animations requires two matching phones to physically touch, which is impractical.

Just giving you guys a warning as a Asus 8 pro owner, the back LED display looks really cool but it doesnt have a lot of support or customization both official or fan-made. You cant wire it to specific apps and the toggles at 4:13 are all you have. You can draw your own animations but it takes a lot of effort and the only online forum to share animations has barely any activity. The unlockable animations at 4:50 require 2 phones to physically touch each other to unlock so good luck finding another person who also has the same phonelaunch

I'm pretty disappointed they advertise aptx lossless support but it doesn't actually work. Aptx lossless only works over classic BT if the audio is 16 bit 44.1KHz, 48KHz works if both devices support AptX adaptive over LE audio but nothing does. The only available sample rates on the ROG phone 9 when aptx adaptive is used are 48KHz and 96KHz. Lossless works on my ROG Phone 7 when leaving the bit depth and sample rate at default.launch
