They can think the no charger is now a industry standard. But the difference is people are looking to something alternative to samsung and apple. If people have to spend money on top to get the correct charger especially when so many counterfeit chargers exist its just not a win. By aligning your company with apple and samsung you are showing you are the same as them. Be for the people and the people will follow you be loyal to you and keep buying from you. Integrity matters. Your device breaking because people bought a charger thinking its made by you (but is a cheap alternative) matters to your brand.launch

Even though I do get the whole you already have a charger and it's better for the environment thing, older chargers are meant for older hardware and what used to be fast charging in the past is slow AF now. When I read this one wasn't going to have the charger in the box was waiting for your reaction lol. I read a rumor in the German tech press that it's because the EU is pushing companies to not give you a charger in the box to be more \"environmentally friendly.\" Fine if you already have a Xiaomi compatible 120 watt charger I guess but not everyone does. I use it about half year. Xiaomi is full of bloatware. I also noticed some freezing. \nWhen i play music from my mp3 list i have to see add first on xiaomi player. I use samsung before (note9) and have to say was much better experience. For me xiaomi is 5/10. I will sell it!launch

I watched many Xiaomi 14T pro review videos and decided to give it a try. Almost an instant regret. The main camera is fantastic but the wide angle and selfie camera give a very dull images (as if taken using a different phone). The so-called AI features of 14T pro is a joke. The audio transcript takes ages to complete compared to my pixel 7 pro that does live transcript. And there is this super annoying GetsApp built-in spam app/bloat app that keeps recommending useless apps and there is no way to delete it! Tried to disable it in the Settings but after sometime it appears again! Xiaomi what is your thinking of building in a spam app into your OS??launch

It's really good that xiaomi still offers competitive (hardware and performance wise) and affordable (almost) flasgship devices that are on the same level with double the price flagships from other OEMs! But, if their software it is still riddled with bugs (especially the small ones) and the every day user experience is still compromised, as usual for xiaomi devices, then it doesn't matter. If I have to acquire a smartphone, I will go down the ebay road and buy an older used flagship from Samsung or Apple. I will not buy a new Xiaomi device no matter what!launch

What about heat? It's ok being able to play warzone mobile at max settings but how long till it becomes unbearable? What's it like on lower resolution highest framerate too? Seen a pretty nasty looking thermal test on gsmarena for this phone. What's the 12gb ram like? Is it enough? Using a 12tpro and will replace it before the year is out for better performance. Also I'd like to know how long you can get on codm BR from single charge too.. On my 12tpro I can get around 4 hours gaming time on codm br 90hz low graphics.. Used to be around 5hours but the phone is old plus codm br used to be 60hz so really interested in 14tpro.launch

The only downside of my Xiaomi 14T Pro is the battery life. Drains fast even if you are not using it. Tho charging is very very fast, still, can't rely on it to last even a day on a single charge. It's $999 here in singapore. Only 1TB storage, 12GB ram model it seems. Preorder gift is xiaomi openwear stereo, a earbud. There's an option to add 120W charger for an extra $30 so it's $1029 if you want the charger.\n\nIt's pricey and the design is very basic like a budget phone. Very uninteresting to me. I guess I'll wait for the Oppo Find X8 next month. That one will be interesting.launch

Xiaomi and their subbrands are quite a mixed bag in 2024, from a Xiaomi user since 2014.\n\nLike they kinda finally nailed the software (I mean at least it's not like a hot garbage like later MIUI or early HyperOS) but they compromised so much on hardware, surprisingly. \n\nI mean, first, the back is screaming $200 phone. While the back panel is exceptable, that camera modules' housing is so damn ugly. I mean last year Redmi Note is looking way better. And I mean if they could make the Poco F6 Pro (Redmi K70 rebranded) or even Poco X6 Pro (K70e, the cheapest one of last year K-series) looks that good then I can't understand why this one is way uglier.\n\nSecond, the absent of charger is very unexceptable, especially when Xiaomi is using their own proprietary charging technology. I mean they did away with this back in Mi13T/13T Pro in my country (Thailand) and did kinda dirty by putting the charger back as a \"pre-order benefits\" along with some promotional kits. It costs around $100 here for that 120W charger.\nAnd when I say \"proprietary\" I mean they didn't even supported the 65W PD charging. Some mentioned this on reddit on previous models but I'm not 100% sure if they changed that in 14T series.\n\nOverall, a solid phone. But that absent of charger is quite disappointing. I mean for something like sub $300, it's fine as most of them supported only like 67W charging and probably fine with other aftermarkets at slightly lower power. Not even one reviewer ever tests the audio recording or the sound when recording a video. They should drop the fragile glass back. One drop from less than a meter on a hard surface can fracture the back. Why isn't a durable high quality synthetic back available. Instead of the vegan leather with unverified durability they had on the 13T? \nA quality Synthetic back will make the phone both slimmer, lighter and more durable. It should be a no-brainer, except some reviewers praise the fragile shit for feelin nice despite the disadvantages, and the fact that with a glass back you need to protect it, so the nice feel is lost anyway!!launch
