Hopefully these will be available to buy. Been trying to get the original Instant since they were first announced. I have a couple of use cases where I occasionally wish to check in on something, but don’t want to fork out for a g3 bullet every time and dont quite trust the flex with outdoor use.

These cameras are garbage. Ubiquiti/Unifi just needs to stick with making network gear. Clearly they know zero about security cameras. Advertised as 2k video, yet its a 4 MP camera. I have better video playback on my flip phone from 20 years ago. The only time the video is clear is when no motion is going on. The second someone or something enters the frame, the video turns into the worst digital break up i've ever seen. I have tons of these cameras, all on a fiber connection... They are all the same crap. Will never buy again. I have a cheap bluRam camera that is half the cost and 10 times the quality.

Please add a playback speed option into the Unifi Protect App (2x/4x/8x options would be nice). Also, Live View is missing from the tablet/mobile apps. I know it doesn’t make sense to have Live View screens on a phone but it makes sense on a tablet…

Unfortunately the UDR and others alert when exceeding the amount of cameras beyond 7️⃣\neven if none of them record permanently. Was not aware of such Limitation so quickly. Cameras are great. UniFi protect is not. Geofencing and push messages when off prem is not working.
