I have them. The bass is almost non existent and the highs are harsh. I'm not using any EQ. I hope they get better as I use them over time. Aside from that, the detail and other things are very good. For now, I mostly use SHP9500 but I will start to use the 660pro more often now to burn them in.

I have the HD330. They are not studio headphones as they seem. They don't have sound clarity. While the highs are too loud on the HD660, the HD330 have too much bass... And the highs could have been softer. The voices are very thick and lack clarity.

I appreciate your review and agree about the quality and value of these phones but...\n\nI got these as a backup for OneOdio Pro-30 headphones -- which I really enjoy. \n\nAs you know, headphones are a HIGHLY personal product, like shoes -- you have to get the fit that is right for you -- and I am sorry to say that while the Superlux HD-660 30 ohm were a close runner up, they seemed to my ears to lack the depth and richness of the OneOdio Pro-30's. \n\nAnd the Pro-30's were cheaper, at $39 on Amazon.
