the scroll wheel dust is such a design flaw. is this designed to make people throw it out and buy a new one even though it still kinda works? the glue on these pads is intense, even with heating it's difficult, the replacement pads are scarce, i know it's a common problem with basically all mouses and that i should have just got a better onelaunch

I have that noise to from SCROLL and it's annoyng and from what i saw from others review's not on all u can hear that noise,they have a factory problem whit the scroll noise, that is the only minuslaunch

Buyers are frustrated that the Sensei Ten costs the same as the original Sensei while dropping onboard memory and using a plain rubber cable instead of braided, making it feel cheapened for the price.

You keep saying last generation but that wasn't the 310.. This mouse is for people who wanted a Sensei or Sensei Raw. The only thing that could have made this mouse better is one of the new braided cables and some PTFE skates imo. I can deal with the weight it doesn't bother me.launch

I prefer the OG sensei or Sensei raw rubberized , but the ten is exactly what i like about a mouse , simplistic and efficient and its exactly what a sensei raw is about ... the only thing i dislike is the none braided cableslaunch

I've been using the same original Sensei since 2012, and it is by far my favorite mouse. It's beat up, the surface has peeled, and the LCD screen on the bottom doesn't work well anymore, but I love the shape of it and how well it functions. At first I was pretty excited to see a renewed version of the Sensei (not the Sensei 310 - that mouse isn't anything like the original) so I can possibly replace mine. However, I am pretty disappointed to see that Steelseries has cheaped out on this mouse while charging the same price as the original. I would have at least wanted to see a braided cable. Having a plain rubber cable on a premium mouse is a joke in 2019. They also got rid of onboard memory, so it's more like the Sensei Raw. To me it's not that big of a deal since most people probably aren't bringing their mouse to use on different computers, but that's another feature they removed while still charging the same price. I'm glad I bought a spare when the original were still in stock. I guess I'll be using the original Sensei for a while longer until they get their act together. Or maybe switch to the Razer Viper.launch

The matte coating on the mouse body wears away at finger contact points over extended use, revealing bare plastic underneath and giving the mouse a worn, unattractive appearance.

I have the sensei raw and this mouse looks to be almost identical, I love my mouse and I'll probably be getting the ten, the only problem I have with it is just the matte finish because over time it begins to wear away where my thumb, index, middle and ring finger sit, the matte finish wears away to reveal just the hard plastic underneath making the mouse look kind of gross lol so im kind of disappointed that they brought back that matte finish on the ten but I just love the weight and feel of the mouse and those 4 mouse buttons are just so useful (i use all of them when gaming, usually for item slots)launch

It's known you don't need more than 400 -2000 dpis, so having 16000 is completely pointless. I do like the sensei TEN, but no one will buy it due to it's absurd amount of DPI....launch

It's funny because I remember the former product manager of SteelSeries (Kim Rom) saying in an interview years ago that the DPI race is marketing buzzword nonsense, which was clear shots at mice with pointless levels of DPI, mostly Razer stuff. He was behind the original Sensei, the QcK mats, the SteelSeries keyboards everyone had at one time etc. He left years ago. Now the SteelSeries marketing team is pushing high DPI as if that makes the mouse more precise, just like Razer was trying to do 10 years ago lollaunch
