I like the built in smooth slow motion function of this camera, but it typically decreases the picture quality of my footage. How do I go about receiving the same smooth slow motion effect if were to shoot in 60i. I know 60i is really 29.97fps not 60fps and final cut pro immediately converts the 60i to 29.97 and this stops me from getting the professional smooth slow motion I need. Can you help me with this issue. Thanks.

I notice that when you show StatusCheck/output 2/7, next to HDMI output you show 1920x1080. My screen just shows 4 dashes. And all my clips are recorded as 1440x1080. I am just using the MRC. How can I set the MRC to record 1920x1080, or can I? Thank you for any help. BTW, I've pulled my Z7U out of storage to use for an Hd shoot. Never thought I would use it again. Using it so far to just digitize old tapes.

I like my 7ZU but I have a couple of issues with it:\nthe screen is kind of blurry and pale so it doesn't allow you to see if your picture is really in focus.\nThere is no place to hold it with the left hand when you use it in hand held mode. It is heavy and non balanced because the provided lens is big.

I'm trying to get mine to execute focus marking, after setting everything up I can press the shot transition store button and it lights up orange, I then set A and B focus points, try to press the shot transition button again and nothing happens, it won't go to check then exec, I've turned off macro focus as per the instructions and it doesn't work, but if I do a zoom transition it works fine, anyone have this issue?
