to fix the windows 8 problem you have to update the firmware from the website on a windows 7 or under. then plug it into your computer with 8. i literally just did it. works greatlaunch

I had that controller. I loved the feel of it even with the key clack and the fact that it has a midi out and tablet stand. I used a windows tablet with it. My issue was that sometimes the notes would not trigger when playing softly on the keys. I traded it in and got the novation lauchkey 49. I wish I had gotten the 61 key version though.launch

Anyone knows what is that sticky substance that is glued to the buttons and wheels of this keyboard and how it can be cleaned? I have tried to clean it but it seems that the more you rub it the more sticky it becomes, and worse, stuff from the cleanex or rag you use to clean it gets stuck on.\n\nIt is very annoying that you push, let's say the octave up/down buttons, and your fingers get glued to them, I'm not kidding, it is what happens. Same with modulation and pitch bend wheels, they are sticky, like if they had glue on them.\n\nHonestly, this is ruining my experience with this keyboard.launch
