Separately, an owner noticed the metal housing getting extremely hot despite good airflow and no direct sun, questioning whether this is a design flaw.

PoE and NVR integration can be finicky despite plug-and-play promises. Some owners needed an active 48V PoE injector because standard injectors didn't power the camera, while others found their TrackMix wasn't recognized by an otherwise reliable multi-camera NVR setup.
