1. No Patrol Mode or motion tracking is disappointing. 2. But I do love the speed at which the app loads the live view. The Android app is much faster than iOS at doing this. 3. Also when you press the notifications on lock screen of a sensor recordings it goes straight to that recording. My Swann wired system goes (agonisingly slowly) to live view.launch

WORST CAMERA'S EVER. I have different ip camera's and the only ones that lose connection constantly are the Reolink ones. I get all the same BS excuses that i may have a faulty one but they all drop connection every day. My old Flourean have never dropped signal and neither has my Hikvision or Ctronic ones. It seems the 5ghz are worse than 2.4ghz when it comes to wifi.launch

It's not as easy that you show. When you scan the barcode to the camera it beeps but then it gets stuck at the router connection and no matter what I do it keeps block the progress. ends up return itlaunch

I have a Reolink System with 10 cameras. I replaced an aging Swann system with this and a Reolink NVR. This ordeal for the past 2 years has been a frickin nightmare. Everything from setup to day to day operation is just miserable. And then, to make matters worse, I've had at least two warranty claims for failed equipment. It is apparent to me that Reolink's business model is to make a warranty claim so rigorous and time consuming that you will just give up, and go away. You can NEVER get a live conversation with a technician to solve a problem. Every interaction is via email which is only handled overnight (in the eastern US), with frivolous instructions to try things over and over rather than just hand the issue over to a live technician. NVR and camera setup is not for the typical DIY'er. Conclusion: If you're shopping for a home or business Video Security System, look at any other company. Swann, or even Foscam, (which I have used both) are far better options!!!!!launch

Multiple users describe the manual focus process as awful, with the camera failing to autofocus after being repositioned unless a full preset-based setup is completed in the room first. This makes ad-hoc repositioning frustrating and time-consuming.

I got two of these for my office and Garage. What a huge disappointment. If these were my first experience with Reolink I would never recommend the products to anyone. I love all the other cameras I have, but these I would rank as low end garbage. The manual focus setup is plain awful. No where is it mentioned that these don't autofocus when you manually move them around to scan an area. They will only kind of track a person and autofocus on that once you do a complete setup in the room on them. The best band aid is to set up several preset positions manually and then scan through them so you don't have to deal with the focus problems. They are also extremely limited in their downward movement as well so you can't place them on a shelf and look down to a desk. They will tilt almost directly up so they either need to be placed on a very low surface or mounted up side down from anything higher that 6 feet to get proper use out of them. The image quality is so-so at best after you spend an hour dialing in the focus, sharpness and contrast. I'm hunting for something else so I can return these. It's worth every penny to step up to a trackmix for room use even though they are huge cameras compared to these. I can only say avoid these at all costs. They aren't worth half their price.launch

Good to see the e1 series from reolink to get a 4k sensor upgrade. I have the older 4mp and 5mp versions both indoor and for whatever reason both will frequently need to auto recalibrate the pan tilt positioning by doing the 355 degree pan 90 tilt for no reason at all. Even if there isn't anything motion or object tracking happening. it's not a restart because I can watch it happen on live view in the app. I sit at a table for some time little to no movement and it will do the pan tilt calibration automatically and it is so annoying. It gives me the feeling like it's been hacked or someone is doing it intentionally. Or maybe it is hacked? Updating firmware doesn't makes no difference. Curious to know if anyone with the 4mp and 5mp e1 cams noticing this behavior and how often it happens. Lh are you noticing anything like this with the e1 cams? I will have to ask reolink support reolink about all of this and I may share what they say here. they should start a new compact cube style camera lineup kinda like the wyze cam or tapo designs with 4k this e1 body style has been around for ages.launch

On at least one unit, the reset button is just a hole with no way to press it, and the camera's downward-angled lens makes it hard to reach.

Normally a fan but the E1 Zoom is RUBBISH. No ether net port. I had to delete and now can't connect to wifi. It says to hold reset but the camera lens is angled down an the reset is hidden.launch

i got a replacement of E1 Zoom two days ago, the voice prompts were going smoothly but today its not even doing voice at all? The blue led is constantly blinking. And i cant connect anything so far unless i hear the robot voice. The reset button is not there at all, its just a hole, you cant press it. even with the letters. its just a hole and i dont know how else would be able to reset the camera.\nPlease help.launch

The camera's tilt range is very restricted downward, making it hard to place on a shelf and look down at a desk; users must mount it low or upside-down from height to get proper coverage.
