Xiaomi(aka Mi in India)/Redmi/Poco used to be my favourite brand as well. But removing useful features like 3.5mm jack, hybrid SIM slot (akak MicroSD in 2nd SIM Slot), IR Blaster (I never used it but lot a of my friend's parents use it all the time) and no in it is practically disabling bootloader unlock in HyperOS 2 has made me sour towards the brand. With these I don't think there are any brands left with above features.\nI used to hate samsung phones previously but right now it has a lot of features I like and I hope it provides following features within next 3 years so I can shift to samsung,\n- Dual Apps\n- App Lock\n- Get rid of Exynos\n\nPS - I use poco x6 pro 5g.launch

You are wrong about the phone not having an IR blaster. Like other Redmi phones starting from 2016, Xiaomi Redmi has been incorporating IR blasters on their phones, and the Redmi K80 Pro is not an exception. But for uncertain reasons, its IR blaster is situated above the rear-right camera; it may have been moved there to achieve higher IP ratings.\n\nYou are also misleading for saying that the phone does not support video output. It can support wired video output, but you will need a very specific tool because the USB-C port on the phone only supports USB 2.0, not USB 3.0 or above where DisplayPort is available. For devices with USB 2.0 ports, you can use a DisplayLink dock. I recommend you get this adapter so you can review phones that still use USB 2.0 ports. However, this adapter suffers slower data speeds than 3.0+, but video output is still possible.\n\nI have had this phone for almost 6 months now, and I would say it's more of a gaming-oriented phone rather than a daily driver. But in good hands and with the right software, one could achieve the same level of photography/video as a base iPhone 15.
