I bought my poly focus 2 on your recommendation. The head set works well indoors. Outdoors in windy conditions it is useless. Inside a moving air conditioned subway train the train's Aircon blows as a result of the movement of the train, the poly focus 2 fails miserably. I am looking to replace with another headset as I am left with no choice but to not use the poly when I am out and about.launch

Does anyone have a problem with ANC? I can still hear my surroundings (such as a kettle boiling water in another room) after switching to low/high. Everything is up to date, and the headphones have been reset several times (including completely discharging and recharging). I can hear the wind from the fan in my ears when ANC is on, which to me means that the earbud microphone is working.launch

So... I'm using this headset and, well...\nThe ANC on my Jabra Evolve2 75 actually cancels out sound, resulting in me hearing less or no sound. The problem with it is that the microphone keeps breaking.\nHowever, when using the Poly Voyager Focus 2, I've noticed that whether I choose the first level meant for office environments or the second level meant for louder surroundings, there's no difference, and I can still hear all my colleagues talking in the background. It's really distracting and annoying.launch

Hi there, Do you know if there's any way to prioritize the headset when it's paired with a laptop and the mobile phone simultaneously? I mean, I use it in my work laptop with the dongle and if I'm in a call, a Teams call or a normal call and I suddenly receive a call on my mobile phone it stops working in Teams and the headset starts working on the mobile phone...although I don't pick up the call I lose the audio in the Teams call. 'd like to always prioritize my laptop...Is there a way to do this? Many thankslaunch

I have used Plantronics headsets for over 30 years and always found them to be superior in quality and durability to any other headset made. Until now. I have been struggling to get this headset to work properly. It is useless when connected to an android cell phone as the volume is non existent and neither party can hear the other except for a very tiny far, far away scant of a voice. Over a new Lenovo laptop the voice is loud and clear although the USB dongle has no lights as described in the user guide and the mute does not work in any form. Perhaps I got a lemon. However, over 30 years and hundreds of Plantronics headsets, this is a first. In reading other reviews I learned that Plantronics was recently acquired by HP, and for me that explains everything. I have a HP printer that is the worst printer I've ever owned in regards to it's software. I've lost count of the number of times I have reloaded the software to get it to communicate with my computer over the past 3 years that I've owned it. HP/Poly are junk in my mind and the great Plantronics is dead.launch

the pairing with my iphone works, but as soon as i make a call i have to reconnect the headset with my iphone again, sometimes twice. As soon as i start a new call the same thing happens. The headset is up2date. Any ideas?launch

By far the worst headset ive ever used. You need a usb adapter which hogs a port and the app just to have a chance at it working correctly. And the feature where your auto muted with the boom arm up is trash there is no need for it. This is the only headset where I had to watch a dam video to get them to work. Also couldnt get the tts to shut off for a while which drove me crazy. 0/10.launch

Thank you so much for your great review! Overall the headphones look good however I see two major cons. 1 - micro usb, that just should not be happening in 2021! Means you need special cables (usb-c to micro usb) or dongles to use it with a modern laptop such as MacBook or even some Windows models. 2 - it would be great for the charging stand to also have a usb dongle functionality, so if connected to your laptop you wouldn’t need the actual usb dongle and avoid occupying two usb slots with one headset. To me these 2 points are a deal breaker.launch

If you are a windows user DO NOT BUY THESE! they are using BT dongle and therefore you are getting MONO AUDIO whenever you are using the microphone (due to the Windows driver, regardless of dongle or direct connection and even if you use them as wired headphones)launch

The microphone noise cancellation does not work when connected via Bluetooth directly, it seems that you need the dongle for that, which means that mic noise cancellation does not work with mobile devices. I tested it with my phone and the mic noise cancellation was indeed non-existing.launch

I bought 2 of this, after 1 year both earpads and head cushion started to peel off! \nIt is not leather! it is synthetic leather! I lived in the Philippines, humidity here is high. Sorry for posting the disadvantages I find, I don't try to have a negative attitude, it's just I think that potential buyers need to be aware of these issues, as the headset has a premium price. \nMuting the microphone! If you decide to do that via the headset by clicking the mute button or sliding the mic upwards, the other participants in the call will hear a loud click or a loud sliding of the mic respectively. Also when you walk, you can hear the strap on the top jiggling on each step you make.launch
