I use this for practicing every day. And if you´ve got an idea at 02:00 in the morning, you have no problems with the neighbors. And because of the Bluetooth connection, you can use it as an normal bluetooth headphone also, its comparable to a Sennheiser Momentum 3. And thats really ok. It has another sound, but thats because its for bass/guitar playing. And yes ok, the transmitter has a micro-usb charger, but please think about the the transmitter is not only part of the Waza Air. It is also part or the Boss Wireless Series and used in different Wireless System Boss WL-20, WL-50, WL 60... and therefore the WL-T is sold as spare Part. Also for systems which are not longer sold. Musicians are a bit more conservative than maybe smartphone useres. If something works, why change it. Example, the plug for your electric guitar has never changed. There may be better solutions, theoreticaly, but why change it. It works.\n\nAnd Boss does also one wonderfull thing with the waza air. It gives the OPTION to configure it, but it is not needed. You got a pair of them, plug it in your guitar and play. Nothing, no settings needed, no configuration needed. Nothing. Plug and Play at the sense of the word. But if you want you can download an app, and play arround with amp-simulations, effects and all that stuff. I used mine 2 years before i was aware that the app exists. And tried the app, and than i put my headphones back to factory defaults and delete the app, because i dont need ist. But for you it may be the essential help to create your sound.launch

These headphones are great, they offer guitar practice without annoying the crap out of everybody around you using an amp, even at low volumes. Mine came with a hard shell zip up case. I never knew that you could play a backing track to play along to. My only disappointment is that the model I have has loaded presets which are so bloated with gain and you are overwhelmed with parameters and affects. I only wish Boss offered a choice of Amps like Axe FX and you were able to manipulate the settings as you please.launch

An important notice: You can plug in the Waza Air transmitter also in the end of your pedalboard chain and it works fine! That was a very important criteria for me and almost none of the tons of online videos answered this question. Not even BOSS mentioned this important fact in its marketing and product documentation. But YES it works and you can use all your own pedal effects, therefore have the sound that you are used to or that you have configured for lots of money.launch

I’ve had mine for years and use them all the time. So easy just to grab the guitar, plug in the Jack and you are away. Also recently took them away on holiday and got some good practice in. I don’t really use the 360 gyro, find it annoying. Have a couple of good lead, clean and effects presets set and never need to change these (although you can). It’s handy that you can bring up a tune on your phone on YouTube and jam along. Good if you are trying to work out a part, in fact, I’ve used these while working out some of your lessons/ ideas on your channel. Well worth the money.launch

Have owned these since April of 2020. Don’t care about wandering perspective, simply don’t use it. A family life-saver for practice during COVID shutdown. Absolutely perfect for practicing with YouTube videos. Tuner works, but just use it for your A string and do the rest by ear. Audio quality of streamed content has me hearing nuances I’ve never heard in songs I’ve performed for years. Battery life is an issue, but as long as you’re aware of it, you can deal. Also, Alec Bourne - Midi Mad Scientist, has figured out how to footswitch between presets, very cool.launch

I was so skeptical of this review (and many others) - I finally decided to buy them only to find out they were sold out everywhere. I wound up buying them on eBay at a $100 over list. I am so happy I did - these are game-changers for me. To be able to leave the plug into my guitar all day, then pick it up, pop on the headphones and switch between 6 katana presets I recreated from my amp is amazing. Phone will reconnect too without issue for me (iPhone 7). I walk out to the patio with my phone, guitar and headphones on (NO CORDS) and jam. The convenience is amazing. Battery life is great and surround sound amazing. LOVE THEM. Get them if you can afford themlaunch

These are great and the only amp I use now. The sound is great, no noise to wake the house up at night. And the connectivity to YT for playalongs is another great bonus. In fact they sound so good that I agree it’s a real shame there is no recording to show others just how good you can sound with these. And the lack on tones. You can download some of these through Boss Tone Exchange but there isn’t enough on there really. But overall I love these things. And the build quality is superb.launch

This was the best review for this product, well done! I have one of these and it was one of the best purchases I've ever done, and I'm really picky. I have no space at all for amp and I've tried many high-end pedal-boards and all of them sound really bad for rock/metal on headphone. Boss Waza air is different, it has this surround sound effect that makes way more realistic. The gyro though is just something to impress on the first usage, not that useful on the long run, but the regular static surround sounds beautiful even for distortion. I really wished they had an audio output or interface integrated on its USB port.launch

Bought them 7 months ago...I never thought they would become my main gear other than the guitar itself. I would buy them again. No doubt. The are super useful.\nAnd I don´t even use 15% of the options they offer. In fact, the app is just a huge pile of crap...but, I have two or three tones I like in the presets. I bought mine when they came out they were sold out everywhere at the time the only place that had just one pair was PMT. Used them a bit then didn’t use them for a long long time years in fact. I started using them regularly about 6 months ago they really are very good very immersive. I do agree the app is very dated and a bit clunky.\nI did consider purchasing The Spark Neo recently as I do like the Spark App and all its features but I think I will just continue with The Waza Air Phones.\nMine are still running on the original first edition software so really should consider updating the software. I bought these when they first came out I was lucky to get a pair they were sold out everywhere. I used them a lot for a while them kind of lost interest in them like they were an expensive gimmick. I put them aside for years never charged them even considered selling them. \nA few weeks ago Thought I’d dig them out and give them another try. Charged them up, in spite of not being used for years the batteries were absolutely fine and the headphones worked flawlessly I absolutely love them now, probably more than when I first got them. I’m so glad I didn’t sell them\nOne thing I find is the app works perfectly with my Samsung Galaxy Note Phone, however my IPad which is the very latest model I can’t get the app to work at all. I own a pair. It really works well in a sense that it is not tiring to play for hours like with standard audio interfaces. Boss nailed it in making you forget that you are listening your bass through pair of headphone, there is a good sense of space. Standard mobile bass amp like The Phil Jones Bighead does not even compete.\nCan handle a low B without distortion.launch
