I just got mine yesterday. It is fantastic! It goes great with my Bose L1. The simple features right out of the box enhance everything. I’ll learn more as I get familiar with it. Looks like there are many more things it offers. Very exciting.

Great review. I just bought the Ve 1 and I' m very happy with it ( intend on using it for hobby home recording). Previously I bought a tc helicon play live gtx but never got good results (sounding very unnatural). I' m not saying that that pedal is bad but it is more complicated and maybe my knowledge about eq and settings is not good enough.Bos ve1 and ve 2 makes a lot of choices for you. Tempted to buy a ve 2 too for backing harmonies.

Used this live for the first time last night. It's a keeper. I did have some issues, some of which were human error. My big boots managed to hit every single knob and knock everything out of kilter. When I'm singing I can't look down. My solution will be to just take the knobs off. Maybe tape the posts down. \nAnother thing I'll mention - you've got to really watch your pitch. I use the Auto mode so I don't have to bend down for each song to change the key. I use in-ears and that really helps me manage my pitch. \nLastly, the effects are almost unusable. The echos are ridiculously long and the reverbs aren't much better. It would be great if there was at least a way to turn the volume down. But I didn't buy this for the effects and if you use the first reverb setting it's fine. Also I would suggest avoiding the Enhance button as it just boosts a bunch of ice-pick frequencies which will fatigue the listener over a few songs.

I’m looking at this pedal and the TC Helicon VoiceLive Play Acoustic. I want to prefer the Boss, as I’ve been using Boss stomp boxes for years, and they’re great! One concern I’ve heard is the Boss doesn’t have a great/lit display, which makes use on dark stages a challenge. Welcome any thoughts/comments on that. Thanks.

This promo really does not do the unit any favours. For that sort of money I’d expect far more oomph and much less plastic. One would not be able to judge unless one could get up close and personal with it, before dropping a ton of money on it.
