This is NOT easy to figure out. I'm working on mine right now. I am not a sound engineer and have no idea what things mean and can't find any information on any of it online. Such as the zEQ and what levels are good with a tri pizeo pickup. 😅 this is roughlaunch

Nice tutorial. I’d like to know more specific metering in my T4S since there are only line bars and no dB’s notified in compressor gr-metering and channel input metering. So what is dB between two lines in both metering?launch

Users requested basic high/low EQ for the built-in USB player, which currently lacks any tone adjustment, and separately asked for master-bus effects like a parametric EQ, compressor and limiter in a future version.

In the next generation of this mixer I'd like to see master buss effects such as a 3-band parametric EQ, compressor and limiter. And an OLED screen in a higher resolution or full screen remote control view through a tablet would really improve usability.launch

I have come back to Bose for my bigger gigs. I use NOS 802-Series III’s in stereo. I wanted a compact mixer with USB phantom power and effects, compression. This unit is pricy. So I did a A/B comparison. \nThe mixer I previously demo’d was too big but it had Lexicon effects ghost pre’s etc. I was shocked at how much better the T4S is! Vocals are detailed present with my KMS 105 and the eq optimization is in the menu for this mic. The USB player sounds good but Should Have At Least High/Low eq adjustments! Also I highly recommend when a channel or effects buttons are muted they should change color. That would make it far easier to see. This unit has saved me from carrying a bigger bag, mixer and the vocal detail is awesome.launch

Multiple users reported severe feedback when pairing the mixer with F1 or TS1 speakers, in one case making the system unusable without support intervention and in another limiting volume to only 50 percent before feedback occurred.

maybe you can help here I have this set up with 2 Bose ts1 speakers and a sm58 mic. I cannot get the volume over 50%. I cant set the speakers the master or the channel over 50% I get horrendous feedback. Any ideas why this would be?launch

Tried using it today with our F1 powered speakers. It was a nightmare. The sound coming through was horrible and the feedback was over the top. We are going to have to call tech support to see if this mixer will be usable or if we have to return it.launch

One owner sent three T4S units back to Sweetwater because channel 2 produced crackling and low-end hum even with nothing plugged in, and the problem got worse when phantom power was engaged.

I have had such terrible luck with these mixers (T4s) and have sent 3 of them back. No one can figure our what is going on with the Channel 2 crackling/static and low end hum. There could be nothing plugged into the input and the Global Preferences will show Channel 2 receiving and sending a signal. The signal becomes exponentially worse when the Phantom Power button is pressed. I've sent 3 back to Sweetwater with the same issue... then waited a couple months and tried again. This one is doing the same thing. Have you ever heard of anyone experiencing this, or better yet, know how to fix it?launch

A user pointed out the mixer lacks a jack for a footswitch, meaning a performer standing at a mic stand away from the mixer cannot turn off echo or reverb effects on the fly.

It might be very good but the thing that lets it down is it doesn't have a socket for a foot switch to turn off the fx, when your stood at a mic stand and nowhere near the mixer you cant turn off the echo or reverb.launch
