Your SO not right on these OMHO. GREAT Response across the low mid range to very high stays VERY CLEAR.-forget adding a subwoofer like I did. Mixing it right you do not need it. Mine sitt right beside New Eris 5XT's and they are more bassy with the exact SAME FEED. Mixing but can be used all NOT Flat RESPONSE for that tender ear of yours.

My Krk5s I would say sound better than my k8s. The bass is not as loud with the k8 but somehow the Lows manage to overwhelm the mids with them. Most likely going to use them as reference monitors. It's easier to pinpoint sounds with the rokits. K8 just sounds more blended
