I got the 8 plus because I don’t like the design of the X and would rather just wait for them to fix the design. I love it. I don’t mind the “dull” design because it fits me best. I got one with 256gbs coming from an iPhone 6s Plus with 16gbs and man it’s a huge leap. This is a great phone if you’re looking to upgrade.launch

I traded in my iPhone X for the iPhone 8 Plus and i don't regret it at all. Apple needs to work on the Face ID cause it doesn't work as well as it should. Apple has had years to perfect Touch ID and its still faster then Face ID. I think with enough time, Face ID will be greatlaunch

The glass back on both the 8 and 8 plus looks very cool. But they should've provided the wireless charger in the box. Or at least the fast charger. Apart from that the camera of the 8 plus seems to be a real beast. It'd be awesome if you could do a camera comparison between iphone 8 plus and google pixel xl 2.launch

In answer to your question, Juan, this phone is for me. I recently ‘upgraded’ from an iPhone 6s Plus to an LG G6. Whilst initially it was an enjoyable novelty, the 18:9 ratio lost its charm after about 2 weeks, and the lag that crept in after about 2 months started to really bug me. \n\nI realised I was missing the smoothness of iOS and the general reliability. So I plunged for the 8+. It is superior to the 6s+ in almost ever area, I love the glass back, it’s actually less slippery in the hand and wireless charging is great. The camera is fabulous (again, compared to the 6s+) the stereo speakers are a new thing for me, and the headphone jack is the only minor gripe. And finally, 64gb is the first base model storage that I can live with so I didn’t have to pay for the top storage model. \n\nWhy not wait for the iPhone X? Well that would probably mean waiting until next year, with the almost guaranteed supply shortfall, the 18:9 ratio really isn’t that exciting, and after buying the 1st gen iPad I will never be an early adopter for a brand new Apple product again. \n\nSo this phone is for me. I don’t cate about the design, the actual build quality is superb and the phone does exactly what I need it to. Battery life is awesome, and I know that in a year, the performance will still kill any Android phone that’a just been released.launch

Who’s this phone for? Me. I love it. I like the classic design that offers bezels to grip during horizontal gameplay and I’m also not convinced that I need or even want Face ID on the iPhone X. I also HATE the stupid “notch” at the top of the iPhone X as well. Giving the new iPhone the look of Mickey Mouse ears at the tops of the screen is a serious overlook in design in my opinion. I can’t be the only one who feels that way. So I’m happy with my new 8 plus. I’m also happy I didn’t have to pay over $1000 for it as well. 😉launch
