I dont use Ableton and dont plan to, but can this device be used as a midi controler with other daws? I would use the pads to do some basic drum track midi programing, because I hate drawing the drums with a mouse. Also the 2 octave keyboard is a big plus which would come in handy.

Question. I just bought mine today, and am very sad that both FL Studio 11.1.1 AND Ableton Suite 9.1 both do NOT recognize my Apc Key. I realize that this is a dedicated Ableton controller, but would love to use it with FL. The transport controls, clip launch pads, and clip controls don't work at all. In both DAWs, the closest controller on drop down menus is APC key. Tried it, and still nothing works. What can I do?
